I had planned on buying the tree on the front page tomorrow after work. I have heard that home depot has a flexible price adjustment policy. Anyone have any suggestions? I really want to save $100!

Just saw a tent set up at our local Best Buy in San Antonio. I love a good deal but they are CRAZY!!!

Is this terrible - I've looked at the ads online and I want the Xbox 360 with Kinect for myself, not for my kids!

From the ads that I looked at it seems like Wal-mart has the best deal pricewise. And I could use the $50GC to get the Disneyland Adventures game. Merry Christmas to me!!!!

So I was talking to the DH tonight and we decided that I would rather have the Xbox deal and get the adventure game like you said instead of a Kitchenaid mixer.

Question: Can you use the GC from Walmart right away or do you have to wait to use it? Guess i will be making dinner early so I can get out there super early to stand around in line

Where are we at with online shopping for Best Buy and Wal-Mart. I am still after the Canon T3i at one or the other but can't be there IRL. I have to shop online and don't know when to start to look? Thanksgiving day?

I would love to see the Wal-Mart and Target BF on-line sales. I just can't bring myself the sport and standing in line for hours.

2-What time should I line up?
3-Does that bundle come with the xbox, kinect, game and a $50 walmart gift card? (just want to make sure)

Thank you. It is tricky to tell. Plus I just don't know when I should arrive to the store and how it works. Do they hand out tickets? Will they help direct you towards where the item is at? Sorry, I feel so out of the loop!

I remember last year at one of our Wal-marts they had the super hot items spread out through the store. I didn't want any of the super hot items so I was able to get in and out a little quicker.

It seemed like for the folks that wanted the hotter items that they had to make a single file line by the item(s). An employee was supervising the line and at the appointed time everyone in the line could get however many the limit was until the supply was depleted.

I don't know how it will be this year or if all the stores work the same way.

Thanks so much for your help! I will be celebrating Thanksgiving at my sister's this year, and she lives close to a Walmart. That makes it convenient for me! I like the idea of waiting inside (since it's 24 hours...not sure I'd camp out in the cold PA weather!), just don't know how early people arrive to line up. I wonder if I get there at around 7/8 if I'll be okay? Did you say that you're also interested in the Xbox deal? When do you think you'll arrive?

Kyras Mommy I live in PHX also, I dont know what part you live in but last year when they opened at 5am I saw a few people at around 5 or 6pm when I headed out to Walmart. So maybe if you headed out early afternoon you might make it.


I will be getting a lot of stuff at walmart including PS3 and TVs, my group will be there at about 3-4pm. So hopefully I will get everything on my list I have to buy for our company holiday party.

From what I see its midnight cause its an electronic not a toy. Line up as soon as possible. bring a blankie and a book to sit on the floor while you wait. They will have it in a section that probably has nothing to do with the item. From what I read yelp it comes with all thats why I will be there around 3PM in the afternoon.
I didnt do BF last year, but the previous year I was in line for the TV set. They lined us up by the garden section and we eventually got papers w/ a number on it so we knew we were getting the item. They gave you a "hall pass" to use the bathroom or have a smoke, you got 10 mins. I got there at 10PM for a sale that started at 5AM and there was already a long line. That is why I say the sooner you get in line the better off you are.

The Xbox with the Kinect goes on sale at 10pm. If you go to the Walmart website they have the BF ad posted there. When you click on the xbox it'll bring up more info about it.

Last year Walmart gave out tickets...we had to go to the area where each item was located well before the time it went on sale and they gave us a ticket and we had to come back at the time it went on sale to pick it up
