We moved to Texas this year after several years in northern Minnesota and Iowa. It always makes me giggle at the temperatures Texans consider cold but have to admit that when you are used to the warmer temps, 30's and 40's in the a.m. seems really cold!

I got an email from Walgreen's giving a 'sneak peak' of their Thanksgiving/BF sale. I don't know that there is anything new or different there but they do list a free 8 x 10 collage print offer will be available for 3 days only.

I don't know about that, but I bought my daughter 2 pairs of these on sale last year (last year it was jeans and a white tee for $10 I believe) and she loves them. They are her favorites, and doesn't want to hear that they are too short now. So she is getting several more pairs this year!

I sent an email asking what time the online sale starts-assuming 2am for my time zone, but would like to know for sure. Most of what I want is online, so I think I'll just stay in with my little one (18 mos). The $398 HP laptop is available online, so that is the one I'm hoping for!

DD had a fit over them too when i showed her the ad-she had a pair like them, but they're too short now, so i think they'll quickly become her new favorites, lol, and for $8 a pair, how can i not buy them? good luck on the laptop! a friend of mine is going for the $198 model for her DD, but it's only available in store.

THANK YOU! i've searched high and low for a sharp blu-ray player (DH's preferred brand) without success, and walgreens has one! any idea when the sale starts on thanksgiving day?

bring on the snow! Its going to be near 60 again monday and tuesday.. this is NOT fall/winter in pa.. blah it feels like spring NOT christmas! that said the LEI jeans have heald up wonderful! I bought them 2 years ago on bf for my dd10, she was a little chubby then and was in a 12, well she's streched out and is still in the same 12's 2 yrs later.. I need to buy her a few more I think!

Ok - so I got the last white DSI (on sale today at Target for $119) at my Target this afternoon. Now can anyone tell me what the heck would stop me from being able to even exchange it for a different color in a couple of days? Couldn't I even take it to GameStop and just do an even exchange without a receipt?

Hmm...Only thing I can think of is if its a special type with a different model number that the other retailers wouldn't carry. Good idea though, it will likely work.

So for those of you that did Target on Black Friday last year, could you please share your experience? We are going for a big ticket item that they do not normallly have in stock. The store opens at 4:00 a.m. Does Target hand out tickets for the doorbuster items when you are waiting outside, or will I have to search for it in the store that morning and just hope I turn the right way? Also, what time would you recommend getting there if I want a good chance at the item? Thanks!

I just found this thread after searching Black Friday deals online all day! I'm looking for a good deal on a laptop, and I think I found one at Best Buy for a Sony...but it's a doorbuster item...what does that mean? Does that mean if the store opens at 5am, I have to get there at like 3am and fight my way in through the crowds? Do they ask you what you want while you're in line or do they just open the doors and let people go crazy? I've never shopped on black friday, especially for doorbuster deals so this is all new to me!
