Not wishing summer over, but I love BF also! I've been going for about 25 years and love it even if I don't need anything. It's tradition! I do miss the days when you use to get free stuff for being the 1st of so many at the door. Meijer & Target gave great survival kits (snacks & drinks to get you through the day)

Do you work retail? if you do ask if you could work the later shift. I did this when I worked retail. My boss had no problem with it since she did not go out shopping that day.

we can't wait for black friday. Last year we made bright yellow shirts with turkey hand prints on them so we could see each other in the crowd. this year it will only be two of us shopping together as the inlaws are going to TN for thanksgiving.

We might be spending Black Friday in the Shreveport/Bossier City LA area this year. My daughter just landed a job in the area, so we're talking about spending the Thanksgiving holiday there. DD really needs a computer, so we're hoping to get a good computer bargain on BF.

yay for black friday! woo hoo! you know what i just realized though? we will be coming back from our disney cruise the day before Thanksgiving...so on black friday i'll be broke i've never come back from vacation with money to spend...I really need to start now, putting a little back each week for Christmas shopping...

Here is some information.
Kohl's ends their doorbusters at 3:00 P.M.
Sure they have their one or 2 items that may be really inexpensive,
but if you want to pick up other things, like Flannel Sheets, frames you have until 3:00 p.m. CST.
A manager told me last year, it is posted for 1:00 P.M. for the doorbusters to end, but they know people shop don't get to the cash registeres till 1:00 and then they have to wait in line, so this is why the prices don't switch over till 3:00 p.m.

I can't wait for BF. It's probably my favorite day of the year, other than Christmas! Everyone else in my family is afraid to go because of years in the past. I think it's quite a good time though, I mean, I love shopping, and what's better than shopping at 4am?
