Hi black Friday buddies Just wanted to mention that I am in a desperate search for the Power Wheels Kawasaki dirt bike. It is green and about 4 years old. It is still listed on Fisher Price's website as a current model, but I cannot find it anywhere except on ebay and pretty much everyone says LOCAL PICK UP ONLY or one guy was charging $213 shipping!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay Black Friday buddies I just checked my favorite site www.bfads.net and they are now taking e-mails addresses for updates. we used this site last year and I didn't even really need to open my Thanksgiving day paper, we had our lists and game plan to put in action. Ds#1 was off and running for Curcuit City at around 9:00 to wait for the midnight deals, who then went to wait in line with dh who had been in line at Best Buy since 11:30, we couldn't pass up those $150 computers for the kids, and $30 mp3 players. Ds#2 was in line at walmart with our wish lists. I was at headquarters with the kids and relaying messages back and forth to make sure all bases were covered and that all of the wish lists were fufilled. Yeah we save a bunch of money on Black Friday, but is it really worth all of our time? Well, when dh crawls back into bed at 8:00 in the morning knowing that between a few of us shopping takes care of 90% of our Christmas shopping, you betcha!!!! But more than anything it truly is the thrill of the game. What can I say we live safe sheltered lives, that is except for that one day of the year. BTW I am so excited I have recruited a friend to join us this year, that means we will have Target or Sears covered too, yippee!!!

I love Black Friday and the day after Christmas. I write down everything I want to buy , but really i don't necessarily have to get. My DD's are 5 and 6 and they have already told me what they want and I have already gone out to get it. On Black Friday if i find the stuff cheaper and the line isn't crazy then i will get, but if not I don't feel the need to wait for an hour to save a couple of dollars. They aren't into the big expensive electronic stuff yet so my time seems to be worth more than the money i will actually save. We have a small family and we only buy for our parents which is usually a professional pic of the kids, for our granparents we buy restaurant gift cards and then my nephews and nieces which i will buy Theatre tickets.
I bought most of the stocking stuff at Target,. They had a bunch of princess magnets, notepaper, pens, pencils, etc. Then last year the day after Christmas i went to XMAs Tree Shop I bought wrapping paper, cards and tissue paper dirt cheap. At Wlamrt they had 2 aisles full of bath and boy sets for kids and adults. They were 50% off and then a few days later were 75% off. I ended up buying a bunch of and already used them for both my daughters birthday party favors. I also bought a bunch for coworkers, boss , teachers, bus drivers, etc. I am pretty much done with Christmas and so that makes Black Friday much more relaxing for me. I do love a good bargain so i am always on the lookout!!

I just saw the cutest idea ever for Black Friday! I plan on doing this and I can't wait. Basically it is a Black Friday party. You send out invitations to meet in a certain parking area early in the morning and you have muffins, juice and coffee and swap sales info and extra coupons if you have any. The you head off to do your Black Friday shopping. I just thought this would be a great way to start your Black Friday! Happy shopping. I can't wait!
