its been awhile since i posted but could someone tell me if theres something that i could do for my son at the magic kingdom it will be his 5th birthday?

When is his birthday? Would you like me to send him a birthday card from one of the characters? I'd be happy to do so. Just PM me his name and address and the date.

Be sure to stop at City Hall to get him a birthday button (button-type pin). He can also get a birthday phone call from Goofy (I think) on the phone there. If he wears that button, he will probably get lots of special treatment from CMs. DS went on his 3rd birthday to MK. We got the button and phone call at City Hall. Then, lots of happy birthdays from everyone (characters even wrote in the autograph book different birthday messages) and the singing trash can sang Happy Birthday to him, a traveling brass band played Happy Birthday to him while we were in line for one of the rides, and he got a free ice cream bar at one of the counter-service places.

We also celebrated his birthday at Chef Mickey's where he got lots of well wishes from the characters and a special placemat (which in the confusion, I forgot to take with me -- I'm still kicking myself over that one) for him.

Some people have written that they've gotten special treats in their room (a card from characters, balloons, etc.) from the front desk when they've shared it's someone's birthday. We stayed at POFQ and didn't get anything for him -- we were a little disappointed but otherwise had a wonderful stay there -- so not too disappointed. :)

Have a great time! He will love it!

Hi. My DS had his 4th birthday during our trip this June. We went to MK on the day, made our first stop at City Hall where he got his birthday pin, and a call from Goofy wishing him a happy birthday!!!
All day CM's and other tourists wished him a happy birthday.
We had a PS at the Crystal Palace for lunch, where he got a card signed by Pooh and friends, and a cup cake with a candle.
All the characters made a fuss over him, asked him how old he was, etc.
He was so made up that for the rest of the holiday he kept asking to to wear the pin!!! (which we wouldn't let him!!!!)

It happened to be my birthday last week when we went. We had a character dinner at Liberty Tree (PS) and they sang to us and all the card signed by all the characters there.
Also my family told the crew on the flight (southwest)home (which was on my birthday) and the crew sang to me as well.
Have fun!
