Good afternoon all!
This is a great attitude to have and makes things a lot easier.
Enjoy your 4th!
Works for me!
But it is Maria's quote.
Kristina, hope that you are feeling better!
A big BL congratulations to all our superstars and especially to our Biggest Loser, Fran!
Fran, I hope you have another great week thanks to the "coaching effect!"
And that mega-clippie looks great on you!
Thanks for finding the medal picture for the Donald!
Great job moving in the right direction!
What a wonderful accomplishment and milestone! Yay you!
Bummer about the foot! Hope you are feeling better very soon!
Trina, sounds like you've done a great job getting your eating right back on track!
I'm going to eat what is served tomorrow but use portion sizes to limit myself so I don't go overboard. I'm also bringing a green salad so I will have a big bunch of that to help fill myself up.
Christopher, nice to see you!
Glad that you are checking in and hanging in there.
You know that sounds perfectly reasonable to this crowd, right?
Love this quote, Buffy! I saw someone with a clippie of it not too long ago.
This is a great idea!
Oh, Pamela, this sounds like a good time for an example of a pjlla plan!
So nice to see you, Laura, and I am so sorry about the PF.
I swear by Merrell shoes, sandals and flip flops. They are expensive but wear like iron and have helped so much with my PF. They are not the cutest in the world, but I figure walking around grimacing with pain isn't too cute either.
I also found not going barefoot at all -- even at night really helps. Good luck!

Sounds like the best plan under the circumstances. Have a great time!
Just swimming along here.
Have a very Happy 4th of July all!
I never give up hope, but just try not to have any expectations.
This is a great attitude to have and makes things a lot easier.

My co worker is on vacation so I might not have a change to pop in much so I am rooting for you all to have a GREAT week, feel better if your not right now, take a minute to breathe if you running your kids everywhere under the sun and keep moving forward towards a heathlier you!
Enjoy your 4th!

OK, you got the Quote of the day for us!!!
Works for me!

Not much new to report. My weight has been slowly going in the right direction. I'm nowhere near my goal for the year or month, but at least I'm focused on losing the weight for myself.
Great job moving in the right direction!

Well, third time is the charm..I'm down 60 pounds as of Sunday!!!
What a wonderful accomplishment and milestone! Yay you!

Hope everyone is having a great start to the 4th week. I did go to the dr about my foot. It's a strain and I have to stay off the treadmill for 2 weeks and no weight bearing activites. Hope you all have a great week.
Bummer about the foot! Hope you are feeling better very soon!

MaryPoppins;45357180 said:QOTD (July 3): What are you planning to eat on the 4th of July? How do you intend to resist and/or alter your eating for the day, in order to help with your intentional weight loss goal? (If you are not from the US, share a national holiday from your country and apply the question to that day.)

Fun Side Note: I'm looking at apartments in Florida for when I move, even though I have no idea when it will happen. I'm basing a lot of my decision on proximity to WDW. That's totally normal, right?![]()

OK, quick Quote of te day, and then I have to jet. Trying to hasmat the boys room. If I'm not back by sundown, send a re-con team!!!!!
don't exchange what you want most for what you want at the moment
Love this quote, Buffy! I saw someone with a clippie of it not too long ago.
We are going to our friend's house for the 4th. I'm bringing a "lite" 7 layer dip with veggies. I'll also eat a chicken skewer and possibly a bunless hamburger. Lots of fruit and water. As for resisting, I find that if I have a plan I do better so I'm planning ahead of time what I'll eat.
This is a great idea!

Oh, Pamela, this sounds like a good time for an example of a pjlla plan!

Thanks - I did get some inserts from CVS and they do seem to help WHEN I actually wear the appropriate shoes. I'm a slave to flip-flops (most likely the reason for the heel issues to begin with) and am working hard to wean myself off of them.
Is there such a thing as a supportive, but still cute, flip-flop?![]()

We are going to an amusement park that does not let you bring anything in, not even bottled water, and they have nothing remotely healthy to eat. Turkey legs, pizza and beer are the staples there from what I have gathered. I think the only way I will survive without being a complete crank is to just give myself a pass for tomorrow. I'm going to try to eat small portions but small portions of bad food is still bad. At least I'l be doing a lot of walking the next few days.![]()
