Well guys, I guess I am allergic to exercise!
I went out to do a fast walk today. I did manage to do a mile, which isn't a lot, but for me its a lot more than I have been doing. I was just bee bopping along and kept noticing that my arms were itching but I kept trying to ignore it. As I walked back up to my house I looked at my arms and they were covered in hives! Yuck. I put on some Benedryl and its helping, but man, what luck!
I decided that I am not waiting until I lose weight to look better. I bought my self 8 new tops and 2 pairs of workout capri's online at Walmart. I hate spending the money on me, but I kinda agree with my hubby's favorite statement"Happy wife, happy life". If I feel better about myself I think it will rub off on my girls and eventually my whole life. I am trying to be more positive and focus on all the blessings I have. Later this week I am getting new contacts, and if I ever hit the 20 pound mark..... no.... WHEN I hit the 20 pound loss, I am getting my hair done at a really nice place in town that I have always wanted to go. Ok, now that I said all that..... someone tell me I am not being a terrible person spending all this money on myself!?!?!![]()
Happy Wife, Happy Life is my husbands mantra too. I totally agree.
Don't feel bad for spending a little money on yourself. I always feel a little guilty spending money on myself but when I am wearing the new SMALLER clothes I bought, I feel great about myself and that is what is important!

). I'd try a little, give up, and then start the cycle again. I honestly thought there really wasn't much I could do. I think my catalyst to gain is a combination of stress, and not putting myself first -- worrying and working on what I could produce, instead of how I look and feel, as well as my health. The one thing I have to always keep doing is pay attention, and keep doing things for me! I know it sounds selfish -- but it doesn't have to be big things. Getting enough rest, making time to workout, making time to eat properly, these have to be as basic as brushing my teeth -- I have to treat me like I would my child, and make sure I'm taken care of.
It really saved me this evening. I got my run done, and had a PR best mile pace at 11"14'. Now that I have finished c25K, I am using my nike + app, and set it to a 5K distance. Had a PR time of 35 minutes and 3 seconds in 5.02K.
, to out first Music, Movement and Me class. I think its like a Gymboree, but I had a 50% off a 6 week session fee coupon from the entertainment book. I am LOVING this book! I love saving money and I have really wanted to take a class with Maddie. She always gets drug around to all the older girls activities and this one will be for her only. I hope it will be fun.
I know for sure that I will be in a skirt - either my black one or my pink one with swirly colors on it. I would love to meet up with you!
) question was thought provoking and serious, I want today's to be fun. So tell us something about you that we don't already know.
We saw them at spring training at Wide World of Sports one year, that is such a great stadium!
