Ive had some PM and ask about my shiny new badge "DIS supporter". In case you didnt know they added a new option to pay to be ad free. So while I am so cheap I buy shady knockoffs from SHEIN, I justified spending $4.99 a month for the boards, since the ads really affect my usage. I did it for you guys, since I love chatting, arguing and bantering with you so much.

I had noticed and wondered about the badge - thanks for telling us or I wouldn’t have known it was an option. The site has become so loaded down and buggy on my MacBook. Plus I have gotten so much value out of this site. Sold.

Becoming a DIS Supporter does instantly make the mobile version sooooo much better. Haven’t tried it on my Mac yet, but I imagine it will be a similar improvement.

I apologize if this has been asked previously, but does anyone know when the 2028 point chart will be released? Or when point charts get released in general?

The big question is will there be any changes outside of the Easter dates. I was pulling stuff from my files yesterday and pulled out my original AKV points chart book. Fewer seasons and cheaper point stays outside of the summer school vacation stretch. Miss those days.

I see a banner towards the top of the page that says go ad free. I wouldn't have noticed it if I wasn't looking for it, TBH.

I got lucky with air. I booked it for a good price and then they changed the outbound AND return flights which had me landing at 10PM on arrival day. Umm..no thank you! So we ended up adding a day at the front and extending at the end. Looking forward to my 11 nights and hoping I can slow down a little! My BFF just locked hers in this week and my daughter and SIL still have to book theirs! If I liked road trips I would drive the 10 hours...but I like vacation to start as soon as possible!

Thanks for posting the link to the thread about it. Sounds like ad blockers will be required to be disabled starting in April, so those using them will want to be aware of that.

So far, the DIS Supporter upgrade is better than an ad blocker (experience-wise). Instead of blank spaces where the ad would be, it just goes to the next post. Since I've been on DisBoards for about 18 years, I guess I'm planning to stick around
