Big problem with MYW tickets and getting through turnstiles,,, help?

If one has MYW tickets with unused days and non expiring option, can they get the on premises motel to make sure they are still working properly when they check in on the next trip or do they have to wait until they get to the park entrance? :confused3

The concierge desks at the resorts can scan the card for you to see what's on it.

If the admission has been demagnetized, their readers won't pick it up and can issue you a new physical ticket. :)

Excuse me!!! I take total offense to that. I was just letting people know that my card go de-magnetized and that the CM did admit their were problems with the systems. And yes, I did have to wait over 10 minutes to get through the turnstiles and another 15 minutes before I had a replacement card.

I guess I should of been jumping for joy that it took me an additional 25 minutes to get through the park. I'm sure you wouldn't of been to happy.

Why is it that Disney can never do any wrong? They are not perfect just like I am not. So if I got a little overwhelmed so be it.

The entire purpose of the thread was to help anyone else in the future using their cards for a 2nd trip.

So far I have gotten slammed for living in NJ (which btw I am proud of ) and now I am taking a hit because my attitude must not of been perfect. And all this from a person who wasn't even there.

Gee can't a girl get a break around here anymore

This is the exact reason I don't come over here much anymore. It was fun for a while but remarks like this make me want to just go back to my cruise board and stay there!!! They are much more friendly over there. this poster did not deserve such a comment.

One issue I have not seen addressed is that you now have to make sure the same person uses a pass after the first entry. In the past there was no need to keep Dad's seperate from Mom's, and DS seperate from DD, etc, etc, etc.
Now, with the first use, the biometrics are in the system for the person who used that pass. If for some reason mom gets the pass that dad used on the initial entry, it will be rejected on future attempts. In some cases it may be easier for a CM to attribute a failuer to demagnitizing rather explain the system has changed and your old habits may no longer work...JMHO :smooth:

The name is printed on the pass as well as signed on the back. No reason for confusion, just check the names and hand out the passes.

If you keep the pass in the sleeve and relax when inserting your fingers you shuld be ok. Of course there will be glitches but in the long run, considering how many people go through those turnstyles every day, but a few minutes in line dosen't bother me.
