Best week to go in November for low crowds?

My DH and I went to WDW for our honeymoon the week after Thanksgiving last year, and the crowds were the lowest I'd ever seen at a Disney theme park. My husband, however, thought it was pretty busy (he's never been there before). Needless to say, when we go back in November this year I'd like to make sure it's not terribly crowded, but I don't think the week after Thanksgiving is going to work for us this year.

So my question is, with everything going on in November (Jersey week, Veterans Day weekend, F&W festival, Super Soap weekend, and those are just the things I know about) what is the best week to go in November for crowd level?

Week beginning Oct 30 & Week beginning Novemeber 28 are typically the slowest.

I was there between 11/7 and 11/15 this year...which encompassed every event you listed! The crowds were significantly lower starting 11/14, in comparison to the same time period the week before. I've heard a lot of people say the week before Thanksgiving week is the slowest.

In 2004, we did a two-week trip which covered Thanksgiving week and the following week, the latter being a time period we frequented a bit about 10 years ago. The week following Thanksgiving is no longer as slow as it once was but still a lot better than Thanksgiving.

IMHO, if you want the slowest, I think it would be the week before Thanksgiving. But if you want to enjoy some of the special events, then the week following Thanksgiving is pretty nice, too.

Last year we were at the world on the Super Soap sunday. We visited Epcot and AK that day and neither were too busy. The following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are also a great time to go. This was the week before Thanksgiving, but I imagine when it gets closer to the weekend some of the Thanksgiving crowds will start to arrive.

We were there this year from Nov. 3-7th...the crowds were so low we absolutely couldn't believe we were at Disney!! (we usually go spring break...so this was a shock to not have to wait for rides!!) It was still warm enough to swim...beautiful weather, actually....but not many Christmas Decorations up yet...though Main Street in MK was decorated, and osborne lights were up at MGM. Have fun planning!! :goodvibes
