Best way to make ADR?

We only get to Disney about every 2-3 years, and it seems like everything is new and different each time I start to plan. What is the BEST way to make ADRs these days? I am reading about people checking an app??

I think the best way is the Disney website:

I used the website initially when I was making the dining reservations for my trip. Then I used either the site or the app to make a few changes and to keep checking on a few I was still trying to get.

Of course you can also call, but I prefer doing it online.

The app is called My Disney Experience and it's free.

The website is perfect for making ADR's but also just calling Disney Dining works. Sometimes I even prefer just calling.
