Hi,
We have ressies for Apr '05 at OKW (I can't wait!!!) Anyhoo, I'm thinking of trying to swap the OKW ressies for BCV ressies at the 7 month window (for the pool, proximity to boardwalk/Epcot, and DH's desire to stay somewhere different, though I think it's his secret love of Beaches and Cream!!!)

I'm looking for room reccommendations from my fellow DVC'ers as to the best 2 BR rooms that I could request for this trip.

In advance, thanks for your advice

Just go with your requests instead of a specific room. We prefer the quiet pool view with a view of the canal (where we might see the villagator). We thought about an Epcot view but realized we probably wouldn't even be in the room to use it. We had a smoking optional room once and it wasn't bad. This coming from someone who really doesn't like cigarette smoke.

First time we had epcot with fireworks view, second time had a pool view. Liked both of them. If possible stay away from being next to the elevator. That's what we had the last time.

It had it's ups and downs. :yo-yo::teeth:

We like the pool view down by the canal. It gives you a nice view plus a very quick exit point to the parking lot if you have a car or a very close path to the buses without having to go through the BC area at all.

Oh manning!!!!!!!:hyper:

We like a quiet pool view there as well. I think last time we were there, we were in room 103 or 108, and the time before that we were in 234. Both were nice. Obviously 103or 108 was the 1st floor, 234 was the second floor.

I agree with go with your requests for your favorite room type, not the best specific room. Remember, someone's idea of "Best" is not necessarily someone else's. Last year, I was fortunate enough, I thought, to get a room that someone else had said was the absolute best. Well, I was unimpressed-the proximity to the road was too distracting for me. However, once I'd gotten a room overlooking the woods, which someone else may have thought was boring, since it didn't really overlook anything noteworthy-no pool, no Epcot. However, I loved the view of nature. So go with what YOU like, not someone else's idea of "best".
