Best resort CS for lunch?

On my non-park day I would like to tour another resort. I would like to use our CS credits for lunch (DP). Where should we go? I was thinking of CBR because it sounds like they have good selections and fun shopping and atmosphere, but would like to hear other suggestions.

DH and I are going to try Mara at AKL because otherwise we wouldn't get to see the resort. I would choose based on which resort you'd like to visit.

Mara is really the only choice I can think of. The food there is pretty good and AKL worth visiting. Be sure to visit the gift shop.

I agree with Mara simply because AKL is worth a visit. I have never eaten there BUT the hotel has so much to offer in a resort visit. The viewing areas and gift shop alone are worth a visit!

While WL is a lovely place to visit I have never been too impressed by Roaring Forks. I know the rehab resulted in a slightly different menu but it is very average food. We, as a general rule, do not eat meals there when we stay at WL.

My suggestion would be Coronado Springs Resort and go to Pepper Market. Lots of food for CS. We loved it.

I'd also suggest the Pepper Market at CSR. Fun atmosphere and a great selection of food.

Third for Coronado Springs/Pepper Market! Granted, the resort isn't Animal Kingdom Lodge, but (if it matters) this is where you'll get the absolute MOST value out of your Counter Service credits. While your dessert 'choice' is restricted to a cookie or (I think) a muffin, you can get ANY entree - even the $18.95 ribeye steak

If you are looking for DDP value - I agree with those that said Pepper Market.

If you are looking for a great resort experience - I agree with those that said Mara.

We've eaten at both, and enjoyed both.

We also ate at Old Port Royale at CBR last time - It was fine too, but personally I would pick one of the others.

BTW - We didn't stay at any of these resorts - we were just visiting all of the different resorts.

AKL is a great resort to visit. Their gift shop is one of the nicest. Pepper Market might be a better CS meal, although the Mara offers better desserts, but since you want to tour a resort I'd favor AKL over CSR.
