Best places to eat inside Universal?

HI!

In your opinion, what are the best places to eat in Universal?

It can for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for any budget. I never been before.
Any thoughts on food are appreciated.

If you are a Harry Potter fan then I would definitely suggest trying to eat at either (or both) the Three Broomsticks and the Leaky Cauldron. Both offer "british" themed foods. I believe they are both open for breakfast, lunch and dinner but I could be wrong. I've only ever had breakfast at both of them and the food was ok but the decor and theming makes it worth a visit.

I have also eaten at Mythos for lunch on my last trip which I really enjoyed. Service was very efficient and my meatloaf was delicious.

I'm afraid they are the only restaurants I've eaten at in the parks because we've usually gone out to CityWalk to eat.

I am going to echo @godders. IMO, Leaky Cauldron and Three Brooksticks are must-dos, especially for Harry Potter fans. If you aren't a Harry Potter fan and would to pick just one, I would pick the Leaky Cauldron because the food is more British.

Mythos is the only table service actually in the parks. The food is very good, and the theming is incredible.

Cowfish in CityWalk is fun, too - if you get one of their bento boxes, you can have both a little burger and some sushi.

Besides Mythos, there is Confiscos Grille in IOA and over in the studios there is Lombards landing and Finnegans..All are table service

you are correct.

breakfast time period at tje 3 B's, opens early and ends at 11:00

lunch is first offered at 10:30 so they have a time overlap.
i love that lunch time is offered.

it is one of the slowest times at the 3 B's

only did lunch much later at the LC.
don't know if they follow suit on the time period where both breakfast and lunch are served at the same time.

Mythos and finnegans.

Confrisco's has changed their menu a little while ago. Some items are the same but new items and some removed. The prices are not even amounts like Mythos. I think they are trying to make a second style like Mythos and it's not working for us. We used to love confrisco's too.

Another vote for Mythos at lunch. Great break from the heat. Really good food and reasonable prices.

For Counter Service, I would add Simpsons Fast Food Blvd. I had both the Pizza and the Fried Chicken on separate occasions. The pizza is decent theme park pizza and the Chicken was very good. In fact, it's been a while since I've had a bad meal at Universal. But I tend to avoid the places people usually complain about (Mel's).

We really liked Hard Rock for dinner. Also Bread Box at City Walk for lunch- really good sandwiches. We are looking for another tasty restaurant for this year!

We loved Confisco's and Finnegan's.....food, service, prices were all awesome.

For counter service, we also enjoyed Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron (as much for the atmosphere as the food quality!...oh yeah, and the Butterbeer!) and Simpson's Fast Food Boulevard.

For snacks, the Big Pink Donut and Brain Freezin' D'oh!-nut Sundae from Lard Lad were super fabulous. A Flaming Moe is a must-do once (its pricey, but you get to keep the cup and its a very cool experience). And Croissant Moon has the most delectable dessert.
