It always seems like Mainstreet USA is so crazy around the parade times. Does anyone have any tips on where to watch Spectromagic and wishes that would be less hectic??

Any secret locations???? :confused3

We will be at MK on May 31!! I can not wait!!! :cool1:

Never been at this time of year so what time should we sit down for the parade??

I have read that sitting in the rosegarden area is nice for the Wishes display? :scratchin

The best place I have found to watch the parades is infront of the mainstreet barber shop. The parade comes out right at the big gates to the right of the barber shop. When the gates open, and each float passes the turn to go thru the gates the characters are already in "character". Sit on the crub you get great pictures. Have fun, wish I were going.

Up at the mainstreet station platform is a neat perspective. I'm not sure when, but they rope off the area at some point near parade time. Oh, now I have to put in the spectro cd; on this magic n-i-ight...

We enjoy watching Wishes and Spectro from the area around the flagpole, on Main Street near the train station. We typically visit the World in early June (we will be there the 4th thru 15th) and we try to stake out our spot for the parade and fireworks about 1.5-2 hours in advance. Have fun :sunny:

I like the spot in Frontierland ...... where there are seats in a porch like setting. I liked having a seat while I waited, but in order to actually see everything, I stood up while the parade was coming through.

I also like to watch it from Frontierland, never very crowded and you don't have to try to watch it over someone elses head and can always get a great picture with no one in the way. Linda

I also like watching it in Frontierland . . . compared to watching it on Main Street (which I've also done) it seems that the floats come closer to you in Frontierland. We like to sit where the DVC booth is set up -- you get a little raised area to sit on and no one in front of you.

For Wishes, we just waited until 15 minutes or so before the show started and then stood in the middle of Main Street (at the corner by the ice cream parlor). It was a perfect view.

Woo-hoo! That's my favorite spot too! :thumbsup2 I always watch Spectro and SADCT right there. :teeth:

I don't know if this is secret or not, but when we were there 2 weeks ago, we found a great spot. It's right over the wooden bridge from the castle to Liberty Square. It's right by the cookie/funnel cake shop there.

We grabbed some cookies and hot chocolate and stood right up against the wall there. It's a small area, so it doesn't get too crowded, and the parade passes feet from you. If you get there early enough, like we did, we got to lean against the wall there, so we were comfy too. And if you turn around, you have a stunning side view of Cinderella's Castle. :thumbsup2

Have fun down there!

I know where that is. And you're right- it's a good spot (I'm just loyal to Main Street :teeth: ).
