DD is almost a year and wears a size 4. I want to buy her some mary jane Crocs and Keds with a velcro strap. The last pair of Keds I got her I paid about $30, which I think is steep since they barely lasted her two months. So where can I find quality, name-brand shoes for around $20 or less? Thanks!!

I used to pick up inexpensive name brand shoes at Marshall's when my DD's were toddlers. It was hit or miss but they frequently carried Keds, Stride Rite, Sam & Libby, and a few others. Usually $14.99-19.99. Good luck!

If you have a stride rite outlet near you the keds are a bit cheaper. I get crocs from shoebuy.com with coupons for usually around $16. Disney store was having a sale where the kids crocs came out to around that price also.

Disney didin't have her size. :( Thanks for the tips on Stride Rite and Marshalls. I don't have those in my town, but I know where I can find them!

I like shoebuy and Stride Rite outlets, too. I also LOVE the shoes from Robeez for little feet. Sometimes they sell robeez at good prices on Shoebuy, too.

I've had luck getting good deals on Stride Rite and Crocs for my toddler through Shoebuy.com. Ebates gives a 10% rebate for shopping at Shoebuy, too, and it seems like Shoebuy always has good coupons out.

Target sells Robeez type shoes now too (in the baby aisle, not shoes). I think they are made by Bobux (maybe it's Robeez, it's one of the two!)

$12.99 :thumbsup2

I used to take my kids to the Stride Rite store to have them professionally sized, and then go to the Stride Rite Outlet to buy their shoes. I just walked in the store and asked if they would measure my kids' feet for me. Never had a problem and never had to purchase anything.

My oldest has and always has had wide feet though, so it wasn't always easy finding wide shoes for him. If I couldn't find wides in the SR Outlet, I'd have to get them at the regular store.

Where are you in Georgia. If you are in the Atlanta Area, I was just at the Marshalls in Buford by the mall and they had 2 pair of keds that were really cute (springy looking) One pair was light purple and the other was light pink. Both had the velco stap and they were 12.99 Also second the Stride Rite but I go to the outlet store at Discovery Mills and they always have good deals on Keds.

They aren't 'name brand' like "keds", but they are excellent shoes (and they are spendy)...See Kai Run. Wonderful shoes. We had DS in soft and softer soled shoes for quite awhile, not being able to understand the hard sole concept on little bitty ones, and See Kai Run were wonderful transitional shoes (though he was 2 when we made that transition).

I've also been intrigued by Preschoolians, which aren't "name brand" but ARE quality, it seems. They are also interesting. :)

I will buy at Keds at Kohls when they have the extra percent off. They usually end up being $12-$15. I noticed right now online they have a pair of velcro Keds for $29.99 but they are buy one get one free making them $15. I usually buy the next two sizes on those types sales so she already has a pair I got on sale when she outgrows the first.
