What is the least crowded park to visit on Thanksgiving day? I've heard it is a busy day at the parks and we don't want to feel swamped with people. It's EE at MK that day. Also, I'm assuming that Thanksgiving day will be less crowded than the next day. Is that correct?

MK is NOT the best park for Thanksgiving Day...until later in the evening. We went to AK for the first part of the day.

We are planning on doing EE at MK on Thanksgiving , with an early lunch at CRT. After a break at WL, we will head to Epcot for the evening.

Susy, that is what we're thinking about doing too. MK in the morning then EPCOT in the evening. Not sure where to have Thanksgiving dinner though.

I suggest Epcot for a park and we had Thanksgiving dinner last year at Chef Mickey's and it was tons of fun. Enjoy.

For our Thanksgiving trip a few years ago we spent TD at MGM and it wasn't too bad. Just be sure to make PS somewhere for dinner that day no matter where you decide to spend the day. Just all the restaurants have a traditional meal in addition to their regular menus.

Magic Kingdom gets the most crowded on Thanksgiving Day. A few years ago, they even closed the park to incoming visitors, because of crowds. We went on the Friday after, and it wasn't as bad. We found AK was bad that day.

kpgclark,

CRT lunch at the MK will be our Thanksgiving dinner.
On crowded days, sit-down lunches make sense. If we arrive early for EE, do the rides, etc until lunchtime , we will be eating when the park is getting really crowded anyway. We will take our time eating, go back to the WL for a break and go over to Epcot in the evening when crowds die down. At this point we don't want to waste a whole hour in a sit-down restaurant. We will nibble our way around the WS and enjoy the attractions.

Chef Mickey's sounds great, too!!! We will be doing it on the Sat night for my DS' 6th birthday!

I figure we'll be in EPCOT during dinner time. I think we'll make PS at Coral Reef. We've never eaten there before and it seems like a nice backdrop for Thanksgiving. Do all the EPCOT restaurants have traditional dinners?
