Decision made we're staying in Coronado Springs for Labor Day Weekend.
No Spouse trip. Only DBFF and our kids. With that said. I requested a Cabana Room..Is this a giid decision. I prefer a room close to the bus stop.
I would like to be close to the main pool but not close enough that I can't sleep at night, but not to far that we have to walk a mile to our rm.

I know I'm being very picky and I know they won't be able to secure the rm, but I could ask?

All suggestions welcome.
Thanks Everyone, Especially 2001!!! Great Info. I'm still reading. :dance3:

We stayed at CSR last October and fell in love. Nothing is too far away, yet nothing is right there either. We stayed in 8A and loved it. We could not hear the pool yet it was right there. We had a short walk to the bus stop and a longer walk to the Pepper Market. (not more than a 5 min walk with a 4 yr, and infant) We said that next time we would like to try the ones attached to the Pepper Market. But who knows. I think that I would only try to stay away from Rancheros. They seemed really far, yet it was really cool to walk around this area. I don't know if I have helped or not.

Have a great trip

Here are some good choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building.

We love the Cabanas, you are close to the pool and the main building!:thumbsup2

I stayed in Cabana's 8A on my first trip to CSR about 3 weeks ago. I have to say I had a room pretty much as close to the pool as you can get, and I never heard a peep from the pool in my room - day or night.

The pool is well landscaped with bushes & trees and that tends to absorb a lot of the sound from the pool..

Have a great trip!

We stayed last fall in Ranchos 7B which is next behind 8a. Very, very close to the main pool area. Very quiet. There was a quiet pool and laundry at our building. The bus stop is in the parking lot between 7B and 8a. Very convenient. It does take a few minutes to get to the front buildings but we didn't eat at the resort but a few times so it didn't affect us.

We stayed in 8b with a water view which was great! Also close to bus stop!

We stayed in Casitas 4. I thought I would hate it that it was to far but it was great. The Dig Site was about a 5-6 minute walk as was the Pepper Market. The bus stop was right behind the building and the Casitas quiet pool is also at building 4. We had other people in our group that had their room directly beside the pool and they thought it would be noisey in the evening but they never heard anything.

I have to say, as much as I like staying somewhere new each time I'm very tempted to go back to CSR. I have not a single complaint.

We loved the cabanas as well!! I don't think you will be disappointed with anywhere you stay. It is all so beautiful and clean!
