Have to agree with the majority of responders here.

At DL--Plaza Inn for sure. It's a nice meal.

We always go to Knotts Berry Farm for one dinner too. We can't be that close to Knotts and NOT go there. We like that a lot, the food is really good (those little biscuits!) and walking up and down the row of shops is a nice way to spend the evening. I particularly like the Charlie Brown store across the street from the restaurant.

Plaza Inn because it's inside Disneyland and it's amazing but Mrs. Knotts is incredible too. Plus you get pie. Boysenberry pie. I would do both.

We usually get our table at Plaza Inn at around 7 or 7:15.
We order dinner and eat it very slowly, then we take a break.
Then we go back in and get dessert and eat very it very slowly, and always leave some so it looks like you are still eating.
We've never been told we had to leave.
