Seriously, I shouldn't be reading this at work

because I'm getting all teared up!!
I can recall a story from back when *I* was a "kid" (at almost 20). I was embarrassed then, but looking back, I really appreciate it... It was soon after MGM (now DHS) had opened, and lines were horrendously long for the Great Movie Ride (hard to picture now, I know!), it was hot, the area had little shade, and the line kept snaking past a hot dog stand t that sold sauerkraut (which I hate with a passion). Apparently, I kept holding my breath as we'd go by the hot dog stand, and between that, the heat, etc., I got sick and briefly fainted. According to my mom (and my sisters, who teased me), a handsome CM came running over, swooped me up and carried me to the shade, and got me some water, and ordered me to stay in the shade until my family had reached the inside of the GMR. He told me he was glad to be my "knight in shining armor". I was both mortified and in love at the same time!!
And another time (much later - our last trip we took about 2 years ago), we were at the MK, and I was debating weather or not to stand in line to visit Mickey Mouse with my character-loving daughter who happened to be a bit cranky at the time, when a CM saw my indecision, and said, "Follow me.", and preceded to walk me in the FP line to the very front. I got some great pictures with Mickey (although I DID feel bad for those that had waited, although the line wasn't too long.)
I just love it when CMs add that special pixie dust to the vacation!!
