Best Airboat ride?

We will be going to Orlando in December and would like to do an airboat ride. Any recommendations on the best place(s) to go? Thanks!

The best in the state is the ALLIGATOR COVE excursions tours in lake wales, found it on trip advisor last year and since I see it is voted # 1 in central florida. Small 6 people go out and we laughed and learned about florida. We saw lots of alligaters and just loved it. We are going back again with family in March. OK just found the gift they gave us, the whole name is alligator cove airboat nature tours, got it up on yahoo. And the phone is 863-696-0406. The captain stopped anytime we wanted for photos, hated the big boat rides not a tour at all. They don't rush you on and off either. the fred one and camp mack sucked tryed both in the past. 16 years of going on them this is the best we found and only one we will now take everyone too. TRY IT

We used Wild Willy Airboat Tours in Kissimmee and had a great time!

we have done boggy creek, cpt fred and wild willy.

boggy creek was ok, cpt fred was on his freaken cell phone every 2 seconds and did nothing but drive the boat (we are tourists dude, we want to know about the stuff we are seeing!) and i can't praise wild willy enough. out of the way, but worth it. great captain, lot of info. you can tell he loves what he does and the nature around him. we would definately go back and plan to go on a fishing excursion out of his place on our next visit. son and husband love bass fishing and the exchursion at WDW was very pricy and left them disapointed. (felt like they were fising in a barrel - yes they caught, but not much sport in it.)

Thanks.. The airboat captain at the alligator cove place has fishing guides too. The bass masters was held there in the spring and great speck fish'n also. We sat around the Camp fire at the Bull Shed and talked to alot of fish'n dudes, the capt oftered his bass boat for the day but we didn't have the time. We are going sky diving in the Lake Wales area next, did you ever try it ?
