Afternoon all! It is very Peas-ful right now around here. DS and DD were picked up by their grandparents to spend a week at their cottage with them. DH just left for his softball game. I'm not used to this much quiet around here - I think I will get spoiled!!

Elaine, glad you had a good time at your party. I know you were a little bit nervous about it.

Steph, were the boys at scout camp this weekend? Logan and Lenny leave one week from today. Is Patrick a Boy Scout? What level is A.J.?

Valerie, I hope you are able to see your niece graduate. What a fantastic gift you have put together!

Carol, I can't believe RiddleCon is almost here!! I've got to get the word out to those people who were interested in ordering shirts. The deadline is coming soon.

Kimmar - I think Marsha might be organizing a fall exchange box. This one was tons of fun!

Worship this morning was at St. Walmart. We were there with the rest of Elkton. DD and I had to stop in on the way to camp to get her a few things and the place was packed. (I HATE Walmart.) Anyway, DD is gone until Friday. I hope her week is better than last week.

If 1 or 2 of you would like to send her an e-mail, I can give you the address. The camp prints off e-mails daily and delivers them to the campers. I know that if I posted that here she could get many, many e-mails, but I don't want to embarrass her. Maybe just 1 or 2 though.

Have to figure out dinner for the boys.

All this talk about peas reminds me of a pair of socks I got last Christmas. They have a cartoon picture of the Earth surrounded by 3 little peas [with faces on them] and the caption reads "Peas on Earth"!!

The boys were on a scout trip this weekend, a three day camping/canoeing trip with the troop.
Andrew and Neil leave next Sunday for resident camp for the week. AJ is now a Wolf...Patrick will go along next week as a den chief (he's a second class scout)

Wow..have things changed. I remember getting mail at camp and it seemed like it would take forever to get from RI to MA. I was at camp the summer of the moon landing...1969 for all you kids out there...and I remember my mom sending me a cardboard kit to build a lunar module.....Gulf gas stations were giving them out.

Lars - I HATE peas too and won't even buy them for my house. My kids will never have to worry about me making them eat them.

DH and I almost didn't get married over peas.....The caterer wanted to serve peas with our dinner at the reception...I thought that was fine....DH HOWEVER HATES PEAS...oh well, to keep the peas, we changed the vegetable....I have no idea what it was, but I knw what it wasn't

Lorraine, Saturday night was great! I had a lot of fun and eveyrone there was pretty cool and very friendly. It was easy to get along with many of them and it was a wide variety of people there too.
