I am officially retired!!!!! Got my vacation pay, turned in all my stuff, I am home!!!! Now the wait for severance pay begins, should be about 3 weeks. Just in time for my trip to the world!

Lars, I told them to take me off the donation list, I am always too low, also. Right now our blood bank has 41 units, period. And I can't help. I wish I could, I even went on iron pills for 3 months, but it did not help.

I hope everyone is haveing as much fun as me.

Afternoon all... just finishing up the work day here.

You all are cracking me up today with the peas talk

LK, I don't give blood myself so don't feel bad. Between low iron count (usually), low bp & my terrible fear of needles, I just can't do it. I hate getting all worked up for nothing... it really isn't good for me mentally at all and it is even worse when I am turned away. Too bad because I am O- too.

Yay Marsha!!!! Enjoy that retirement!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I'm textbook Type A (yeah, I know..big surprise huh???) I sometimes make simple tasks much more difficult than necessary....you know...like if the instructions say "simmer on low for 40 minutes"...I figure that is the same as "cook on high for 20 minutes"....I mean really, am I wrong????

so...taking that into consideration...

How much confetti in a present is TOO MUCH? is it possible to have too much confetti???? I mean, if you're not eating the present more confetti is good, right???

The pic in question though is from the Veggie Tales series. I believe that is Jean Claude and Phillipe, two of the French Peas.

Now moving on from peas to Italian...


As for confettti, it depends on who has to vaccuum up afterwards! Actually it depends on who is getting the gift. I've never used it, but I would think sprinkling enough in there to be presentable would be better than burying them in it!

What do some of you pretty gift givers say? (That may be interpreted either way, of course)

...there are two other teachers that work with me and we ALL HATE PEAS. So, on the day before XMas vaca, we wear our "pea socks"!! (BTW ~ Love the song!! And, I also LOVE "trees"!!)

I can't believe this..................you all are so nice, you made me cry!

I don't know when these came, they were delivered to my neighbor and he just brought them over when he saw Pete was home.

4 views, they are just beautiful and I am touched beyond words. Pete is amazed at all of it, I told him who each person was that signed the card, and where you all live and if I had met you etc. He was blown away that there are such nice people out there.

Thank you so much for making my evening so pleasant. I can't imagine having better friends than all of you.
