I loved Carol's laundry story! Unfortunately I've just been up to my eyeballs in dirty clothes. Nothing fun happening here today. Maybe I should start something?

Yes E, they rolled their family van. I don't know if they totaled it or not. A car-load of teens whipped past and pulled right in front of a line of cars. They all had to slam on their brakes to avoid each other. Things like that happen so fast! And the car that caused the problem was gone.

And you're poppin' gin? Wow! I'm glad you came to tell (or was it invite?) all of us. Margaritas sound pretty tasty to me, actually.

I'm giving you guys all my AIM. Please don't be offended if I don't answer you sometimes. I usually keep my computer on and seldom turn off AIM. It often looks like I'm here when I'm not. I'll always answer if I am here.

I'm either up awfully late or up awfully early depending on how you look at it. Megan just called me from cheer camp......at 2 am! She scared me to death! She's not hurt thank God! Just homesick I think. So now Mommy is awake....and I have little hope of falling back to sleep.
Merry-I'll add you to my buddy list as soon as you send your AIM name! We have fun in chat when we manage to get a few angels on at the same time I will keep good thoughts for those people who were in the car accident. Thank God no one was hurt!

I had a few margarita's myself last night and I'm getting to old for more than one! A friend came for dinner and we had a nice time.

Hope you got back to sleep Laura. That phone call must have scared you at first. I'm sorry Meg is homesick but very glad nothing serious happened.

Marsha - you should see our stuffed animals. It doesn't help that EB has inherited Mommy's addiction! We throw them in the dryer with a damp towel when they get dusty and they seem to enjoy the ride!

Tomorrow at 8 is fine with me for our chat. I'm thinking Alan has been absent because he recently closed on his new house. Hope all is well with that. Bernie pops in and out here......and as for John, it's just his fault!!!

We're heading down to Mystic, CT later this morning. Our friends from NJ & MD are staying there this week. It's a beautiful day here. Hope everyone else has a nice one.

It doesn't cost anything to get quotes. I had been with State Farm for like 14 years when I switched to Erie, and I have to tell you, they've been wonderful. Just get some quotes and see if you can save yourselves some money.

Morning everyone! Marsha - I love your collections! DH collects tons of different things. His latest obsession is bobble heads. I make him dust his stuff.

Sandi, I am going to call Erie soon. I just found out our neighbors only pay half as much in flood insurance with Erie. I think our insurance company is too high with our car and homeowners too.

We are going to go to our oldest sister's house today for our dad's birthday. I'll be back later!

I think I get to laze around the house today. I also think I forgot to tell you all but my sister picked up a stray kitten Friday night. While they are going to try to find the owners (if they want her), she really hopes to get to keep her. The kitten has adjusted so nicely that I hope they keep her too

It is a beautiful day here today. No plans except working at the fair later today.

Does anyone know what "P2P Networking" is? I have a little notice that pops up about every minute and says that that "P2P Networking can't start the server". It is quite annoying.

I checked the calendar and 8PM Monday is fine for me. I put a note on the computer reserving the time for me. So do I need to gather all the gifts here around the computer?

Going to go fix breakfast. It is a lazy morning today.

Good morning all !

The company picnic was fun ..... they had a raffle for $50 every half hour and I won one of the prizes ... woo-hoo ! I also ate alot, drank some and played some bingo ..... it was nice hanging out w/ the people from work and not working !

Heading down to see my parents today ... talked to dad yesterday and he's in good spirits ... said he probably wouldn't be able to golf for at least a couple of weeks .... methinks it will be more but at least he has a positive attitude !!

8 pm eastern sounds good for me on Monday night ... I'll be here !
