Bermuda????

Try for a cruise line that spends a few days there. There is so much to see and do.

Can you make any suggestions
We are going in May and would love some help planning 😊

I have been to Bermuda 3 times. 2 times with DCL.

I like our first cruise where it staye over night.

Definitely get off the ship and explore the island. Horseshoe Bay Beach is a must. Island Tour is great. There are things to due right at the port. The National Museum of Bermuda, Commissoner's House, Snorkel Park, Bermuda Fun Golf, Clock Tower Mall and the Frog and Onion Pub. I love the F&O Pub, great food and atmosphere, is in an old 18th Century Cooperage (barrel making I think).

DH and I did tour of Island. It stopped all over, Lighthouse, Hamilton and Georgetow, plus a lot of little stops along the way. There is an Aquarium too on the island.

I am going to post some photos. Need to get them off my phone.

Have a wonderful time. 🚢 🚢 🚢 🚢 :earsgirl:

Here are some pictures from 2018 trip.
First couple of photos are Horseshoe Bay Beach.
Easy van ride from port to beach. You do not need an excursion for beach. Chair/Umbrella rentals, bathrooms, food and bar.

I don't know if this has any hint involved, but the survey we received after our Treasure cruise last month asked about ports of call. Most of them, in my opinion, were departure ports. One of them was Bayonne, which I emphasized would be great as a departure port but not as a port of call. Another was Baltimore. Maybe DCL is looking into moving away from NYC but stay in the vicinity.

Wow thank you so much! It looks beautiful I can’t wait. We will be there overnight so hoping we can get in as many things as possible. This really helped. Thank you!

The way I see it, if they don't plan on leaving out of NYC, Bayonne or Baltimore for any part of a season with the fleet expanding over the next 6 or so years, then I doubt it'll happen. I'd happily do a 7-night Bermuda or 7-night similar to what RCL does out of Bayonne that goes to PC, Nassau and then Perfect Day (obviously LP or CC instead). Those are good itineraries for late spring until early fall. Maybe do one last cruise in the beginning of October as a foliage cruise to Canada before repositioning to somewhere like Galveston or NOLA for the fall, winter and early spring. I'm giving them until 2032 before I lose all hope.

This has been one of my biggest wishes outside of the MK Nighttime Parade which is FINALLY happening.

So Disney christens the Treasure out of NYC but they have no plans to sail out of there. What a tease! I wish there were SOME cruises out of NYC. It's been a while. Baltimore or Bayonne would definitely interest me. It would be so nice to take the ACELA right into NY or Baltimore and get on a Disney ship.
