Bendy-Friendies V.4 ... Drinks-A-Plenty with a Side Order of Tasty Food!!!

I'm taking my mom to frunch on Sunday, the last one they are doing. It's the Burgundy wines. We did a Burgundy wine school once so we know we will probably like the Burgundy wines. I hope they have a white for Mom, she's not a huge fan of red, but I like reds.

At least one will be a Pinot Noir Catherine. He talks about the Frunch at the end of his Grand Marnier Review.

The French Chef I would imagine or maybe not since those at the table will have numb lips and throats by dessert time!

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl: Catherine, I love it!

Congrats to soon to be new DVC owner - Kat! :yay:

Hey y'all, I haven't read back but wanted to share something with you and ask for good thoughts, prayers or some pixie dust. Today we signed a contract to purchase DVC at the Boardwalk!!!!!! We are scheduled to close by 1/5/2011 if everything goes as planned.:cloud9:

Congrats!

I'm cross pimping myself ... I wrote a Frunch review for the DisneyFoodBlog and they published it today.

Here's the link if you'd like to take a read:

Frunch ... it's all the rage!
Love the review! The dishes at that Frunch look so good.

Those look good - like those little fried Mac and Cheese appetizers! Do they need to be served warm? just wondered if I brought them to a party, if I'd have to rewarm them.

I think they'd be fun kid (and big kid!) food, thanks for sharing!
I had them in the oven about an hour before the party and then put them in my throwaway covered pan. They kept well over the course of the evening without reheating.

French grappa! oh my goodness.

That could be fun to try.

I'm so depressed....

We might have to cancel our F & W trip. :sad1: My grandmother's dog is sick with pancreatitis. He seems to be doing better, but I doubt he will be well enough for her to be comfortable leaving him with a sitter in 2 days.

Sigh.

Oh no :(

Would it be an option for him to stay with a vet that has overnight care?

Thanks everyone.

Well we're definitely not going. :sad1: They think Zach (the dog) is on the mend, but my grandmother won't leave him so soon. Our vet doesn't have overnight care, and even if they did, Gram couldn't enjoy herself knowing he's sick and that she isn't with him. He is her baby and she usually doesn't even travel without him! I think he has more frequent flyer miles than me.

At first, she said she did not want to reschedule because her big excitement with this trip was F & W. But I talked to her again today and she DOES want to reschedule...so we're looking at sometime in January. So it's not a total bust. The only money we will lose is what we paid for the low-cost deminars, so we're not in the hole much.

I'm very disappointed about missing F & W (and not getting to wear my Bendy button!) but I am going in December too.

Sorry to hear that you are going to have to cancel. I'm glad you aren't out too much money for having to cancel though!

Since the cruise meet thread thought it was crazy way back when I mentioned it, I know you all will understand the excitement.

I have Remy booked for our Disney Dream cruise in Feb! :lovestruc I know the menu was designed by Scott Hunnel of V&A so I know I should be in for a treat even with the price tag.

I think that's cool ... would love to try that if we ever get back on DCL. Cruiseheads who aren't foodies may not understand, but we do!! :lovestruc
