I have been to Disney 6 times and have never had a PS arrangement for any meal. There have been times, I wish I had. I have vowed, I will make at least a few for my Graduation Celebration this December. I plan to reserve the package for the candlelight processional. I know that this type of reservation has a cancellation policy. Do the PS's for restaurants have a cancellation policy? I am guesing no since it is not a reservation, but I want to be certain. Do you even have to cancel them if an emergency were to arise? And, where are your favorite restaurants to make PS's? As I said, this is a celebration trip. I plan to live it up! We are going to stay at either the BWV, BCV, or the Dolphin. Haven't made up our minds yet. Any suggestions as to the best food?

Thanks for any replies.

You aren't required to cancel any priority seating that you won't be able to make unless it's one that requires a cc# to make the ressie. Those have a specific window of time that you can cancel without being charged.

Boma is one of our must do's everytime we go...great laid back atmosphere. They have wonderful chowders and soups, yummy meat, great coffee, and INSANE desserts! Zebra Domes are the total BOMB! Last time, they had coconut tiramasu that was to die for! (If you want something more upscale then the Mara is even better!)

Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of the fun spots that my kids love. It has great food, bottomless milkshakes, and an overall zany atmosphere.

LeCellier (in Canada at Epcot) is wonderful. Try the pretzel bread (we always fill completely up on this) and the cheese soup!

Isn't the Mara the counterservice by the kiddie pool? I think you meant Jiko. :earboy2:

You are not required to cancel the PS's but they really appreciate it when you call to cancel instead of leaving them hanging. We really enjoy Alfredo's, Teppanyaki, Spoodles and the Concourse Steak House. I have not tried Flying Fish yet but I hear it is very good!! :goodvibes

I often cancel PS that I previously make as plans change throughout the day. I usually just do it from my cell, but you can do it from any courtesy phone at your resort (if on property) and you can also cancel in person at the parks (I can recall doing this on Hollywood Blvd in MGM, but can't think of where it is in any other park).

If you are staying at Dolphin (and like steak) I highly recommed Shula's, one of the best steaks I've ever had.

My other favorites include:

Boma
San Angel Inn
Kona Cafe
Ohana
Restaurant Marrakesh
