Day Four Part Three
Its time for lunch at Scifi!! SciFi, SciFi, SciFi!!!!! I loves me some SciFi! Our ADR was at 11:10 but we got there a little before 11. 10:58 to be exact! If youve never been to the Scifi before, the room (broom closet!) where you check in is tiny and everyone is squeezed in trying to checkin and wait to hear your name. We slowly made our way to checkin and then squeezed together into a corner. The CMs came out and started calling names, but it is so crazy, no one can hear and no one is coming. So by the time they called our name, we all shouted, Here! together!! Everyone laughed and the poor CM about jumped out of her skin!
Time for lunch!!
Its such a cool restaurant. Even though it is a large room, it is cool and quiet, well except for the large movie preview they show.
Perspective from our seat.
Our waiter was Andre from Haiti. He was wonderful. (You can tell they are good if I remember their name.) The children and I got the usual, hamburger and chicken tenders. Chuck was adventurious and choose the pastrami on rye. I know that the some folks dont care too much for the SciFi, and some of the dishes are just ehh, but the pastrami was very, very good and it was something different than a hamburger. Andre suggested we try the vanilla Coke made like a fountain drink. The Vanilla Coke fountain drink was very good, and wasnt too sweet like the bottled drink can be. It was delish!! Of course, we got wonderful shakes as well. All that sugar definitely had us buzzing!! Feel the rush!!
Chuck tries a different perspective.
Heres a little shot around the room. Not so great but you can get the picture.

The movie clips are great. Here is an old friend.
Another good friend of the family.
Heres a little clip. You can hear us discussing the very expensive things we saw at Wickets warehouse earlier.

We really lingered and enjoyed our lunch. Andre did not rush us at all. Its definitely on the list for next year!!
It was really getting hot and after our good meal, we were all ready for a nap. We decided to take a quick look into the Art of Disney store.
We saw these cute little guys on the way.
Do they really sell those guys?
Chuck was toying with the idea of getting another big fig and wanted to see what was on hand. I saw a print of DHS that I fell in love with and got it. What do you think?
A very knowledgeable CM showed us the prints they have with hidden things in them. I thought about getting the Pirates of the Caribbean one, but maybe next trip. I was in love with this new print I had gotten. In fact, on the ride back to Pop Century I had the idea to go to the other theme parks to see if I could get the whole set before our APs ran out that night. I could take the bus and everyone else could rest. Good plan, right? I thought so!
