How did y'all do with Hanna? Did you get a lot of rain or were you enough inland that you weren't affected too much?

It is pouring here right now from her and windy but the worst is more north and west of us...thank goodness.

We are good! Hanna didn't come in close enough to affect us, just some light winds and drizzle last night. I'm about to call my mom and see how she fared. She's about an hour out of Charleston.

That's one down, who knows how many to go!!

Day Five Part one

This was a first in the nuts4wdw family’s vacation experience. A day to sleep in! Ahh sleep! What a strange and unfamiliar thing during our trip…It was a good thing we were able to sleep in, I have difficulty in falling asleep that night so I thought it would be a good idea to watch a episode of ‘whose line is it anyway’ on my psp (with headphones so I wouldn’t disturb the family…unfortunately, it didn’t turn out that way….you know how sometimes you see something funny that you get soooo tickled that you get a case of the giggles? And then sometimes other people who are nearby, who don’t even know whats going on, get caught up in it and begin laughing as well? Well imagine that at 1AM in the morning in a Pop Century room, with the occasional snickering back and forth…until my toy was taken away from me under the threat of severe bodily harm. Between Chuck's gigglefit and the magic of Disney, we woke early up anyway and we were ready to get out and go by 9 AM when the CM came by to fix the light in the bathroom. We had late lunch ADRs at the Rainforest café outside AK so with all that time to spare, we decided to go over to the WDW outlet and see what we could buy…I mean, find. She had it right the first time

Here’s a map of the outlet.

We found plenty to spend our money on. It’s not hard to do….it’s kind of like going into the Dollar Store…you go in to get one thing, and then you notice your saving sooo much money, you have to get more!

The CMs there were very sweet to us. She even let us pick out a free pin because we had to wait in line. Of course, I got a POTC pin to add to my collection!

It was a very successful morning, shoppingwise. I’m not so sure about Chuck’s wallet.
Gee where’s all of Chuckie’s toys…….that’s right he gets nothing!! Poor Chuckie

Back home to WDW!

Day Five Part Two

Back on property and straight on to AK.

It’s kind of fun to go in a different way when you are used to the bus!

My attempt to remember where we parked.

For some reason, Chuck was feeling antisocial and sat in a different part of the Tram. Who are these people???

Em has always wanted to go to the Rainforest Café and since we had no park tickets, we decided we would be as close to AK as we could without being able to go in.

After you check in at the desk, you wait by these giant fish tanks until your name is called. It was great fun to watch the fish. Just keep swimming…..

In about five minutes our name was called. Want to get an idea of what it’s like inside?

I thought the sky was beautiful.

Everything looks so good. How will we decide?

We start with the Lava Nachos. Yum. I think next time we’ll just get them and a great dessert!

Can you believe after that we still have room? Well, maybe not, but we made room.

Jake and Chuck had burgers. They were pleased. We're simple guys. It’s not hard to keep us happy in the food department. Just throw us some charred cow flesh.

Em got the nuggets and fries. She was not at all pleased.

I wish I could remember what I had. Sorry. I remember it had chicken and barbeque sauce. It was delicious and Em helped me with it.

The animals were fascinating, but this one made me nervous. I have a fear of cheetahs.

After a great meal, we shopped in the giant store and checked out the backdoor entrance into AK. There’s a beautiful garden and a fountain.

Soon it was back on the tram, we found the car, and were back at the Pop for swimming and laundry. Wheee! We are some kind of party animals!!!
