We all understand. Doesn't really matter who finishes, I just hope your school year settles down a little, for your families sake and yours. :flower3:

I will say I am going through TimandLesley withdrawl, but I understand why the delay! Hope things calm down for you and hope you have a great school year!

I'm all caught up Lesley and can totally understand about being busy with school. My dd Ally started Kindergarten 4 weeks ago and we are finally getting used to our crazy schedule!! We all understand how crazy things can get!

:wave2: Hi I have a quick question. Where did you get the life vest your DD uses for swimming? I would love to get one for my DD and DS. And I also want to say that I have 2 favorite trip reports people that I always read and your one of them. Thank you for your great trip reports!
We will be going in June for the first time this year and I am a bit scared of the heat and crowds. But we are going for 12 days so I think it won't be to bad because we will have time to rest and not rush.

Like every other morning recently, we slept in and arrived safely at the morning at 9:30 am. What started out as such a good day turned a bit sour as news of the monorail crash had just broken and the sad details trickled down to us. What a horrible thing that to have had happen on Disney property. When you’re there you think it can’t happen to you, but it can. Anyway, we tried to move on…..

Well we swallowed our breakfast whole, and were at the bus stop in no time. Here is Lauren posing at the bus stop, a REAL BIG shocker huh?

After a short ride on the bus we had arrived at the C.ommunity O.f T.ommorow by 10 am, one of our favorite places on property.
Here are a few pics of the kids by the ball and Luke pointing to the “BIG BALLS” like on the show WIPEOUT. This child is too much like me.

Since I was gimping around like a pirate with a wooden leg, we decided it was time for another episode of “Tim Rides The ECV of Shame”. Now when I say this I mean no offense to others who need or even choose to ride in an ECV, it was just the way I felt when I was in it. Surprisingly enough, the chicks dug my scooter…..well the ones with gray hair and dentures anyhow.

Ok now, sing along to the tune of YMCA…
“It’s fun to be stuck behind a T-O-U-R oh sweet Jesus a T-O-U-R, they will yell and be rude and cut in front of you and do whatever they want…..it’s a fun to be stuck behind a T-O-U-R they’ll take all the FP’s a T-O-U-R….”
Ok, so you get the point, they were everywhere!!
103_3498640x480.jpg

After renting an ECV we made quick work of our touring plan, first we hit the KP kiosk to pick up a FP.
103_3499640x480.jpg

Then Lauren posed in front of that KP kiosk.
103_3500640x480.jpg

With FP’s in hand for KP we made our way through the crowds to Test Track to pick up a FP for a later return time, our return time was 1:10 pm. PERFECT!!

We took off to the Land Pavilion and guess what?? You have all better just said what? OK, I trust you, Soarin’ only had a 30 minute wait time, so we rode the heck out of that ride, and it was ridalicious!!

The kids, Les and I were feeling Norweigneny (it’s a word, Google it) so we headed over to Norway for a quick and creepy ride on Maelstrom. The kids love the trolls and when the ride goes backwards, I love it too!!

Outside we took turns playing in the gift shop.

Here’s a picture of me schooling Luke, I rock!
103_3506640x480.jpg

Oh no, where’s Lauren!!

GOTCHA!! Miss Lauren took her time perusing all the fancy perfumes and trying on all there samples. After this she smelled like she had been hugged by 25 different grandmas.
103_3510640x480.jpg

Here’s a pic of Luke enjoying the World Showcase.
103_3511640x480.jpg

We went to go check in at our KP station, but they said that we hadn’t done France or the UK so to check back in with them after lunch.

We trekked over to China to kill a few minutes,
so Luke decided to pass the time by playing with these puppets.
103_3512640x480.jpg

Then Lauren decided to play with the puppets.
103_3513640x480.jpg

And then this creepy guy in a scooter decided to play with the puppets. Wait, that’s me!!
103_3514640x480.jpg

At this point it was almost time for lunch in Japan, so we decided to head over there. I have to say that at this point in the day it was soooo hot!! I mean flies were literally dropping from the sky, if you through coins in a fountain they would melt before they hit the bottom, I even saw one guy burst into flames it was so hot. Ok, I can’t prove any of those things above, but it you get the point.

We went in to the store in Japan to meet Dianne and her family for their last day and Brian’s birthday lunch. Of course, Lauren thought it would be extra fancy to have her picture taken with these:

So we’re ordering drinks and Lesley suggests to Dianne to try the Tokyo Sunset. Well here is a pic of Dianne with her new drink. I think someone likey likey!!

This turned out to be a great birthday meal for Brian, first there was the onion volcano:
103_3522640x480.jpg

103_3524640x480.jpg

They presented him with a little birthday surprise which was followed by this sweet lid they gave him to wear, which I think he pulled off rather nicely.

We all had an awesome meal, that place is always so much fun to dine at, especially with great friends. One side note though, the kids fruit cups taste like BUTT!! You heard it here first, ask Lauren.

As lunch was over we headed downstairs just in time to get in line for the Candy Lady in Japan. She was so funny how she would say what she would make and how you have to share candy with brother and sister or family. So with your best Japanese accent repeat after me, “ I design for you Panda Bear or I design for you Scorpion” The kids loved it….here they are in awe:

We said our tearful goodbyes to Dianne, Brian, Matthew, and Eric. You honestly couldn’t meet any nicer, funnier, or warmer people to spend a trip with. Saying goodbye to friends is never really goodbye, it’s just see ya real soon!

Upon entering the UK we saw this beautiful lady:

Being that people were bursting into flames, Les and Lauren decided to hangout in the A/ C while Luke and I braved the heat and started the next mission alone.

Here is Luke with his KP phone:
103_3559640x480.jpg

Here are some pics of Lauren playing around while Luke and I completed the mission:
103_3561640x480.jpg

103_3563640x480.jpg

Obviously in this picture, the fan displeased Lauren so she choked it to death.
103_3562640x480.jpg

With it being so hot Les reached in our backpack for a cold bottle of water, to her surprise that’s not all she got. What had happened is the suntan lotion had leaked all over the bag and on the lid of the bottle of water. So when she went for a gulp she got a mouthful of sun block along with her water. She spent the next 5 minutes spitting the combined substance back out of her mouth and downing real water to wash out the nasty taste. That is a “what is the odds” story?

Well Lauren and Les eventually caught up with us at the end of the mission and helped wrap up saving the world.

With the mission over it was time to make our way over to Test Track, but it was no usual trek. It felt like walking through hell with gasoline pants on, so so so unforgiving. When we got there we let the kids cool off the misting station before heading in.

On the way in:

Afterwards the kids were very hot again, so we played here and picked up some frozen Cokes for the road.
103_3578640x480.jpg

103_3579640x480.jpg

When we got to our bus stop, the darn thing had just pulled away….AHHH!!! So we all just sat there and collapsed while sucking down the rest of our frozen Cokes.

We arrived back at the Grandstand hot, tired, but not yet defeated. Les knew that we would be staying at the hotel for dinner and that kids choices for dinner there weren’t all that great. So she decided to take the bus to DTD and pick up dinner for us at The Earl of Sandwich, isn’t she just soo sweet!!

After returning we had dinner and Les and the kids hit the pool for some evening swimming and relaxation while I rested my leg. After swimming she went to Artist’s Pallet and spent some credits buying breakfast items for tomorrow. While trying to buy said items she was greeted by a child PUKING everywhere in line. She barely survived it, but she made it out alive without a chuck in her hair. LOL!!

Well we rented a few movies, headed back to the room and topped of the evening with a good old fashioned pillow fight. It was so much fun beating my children with pillows, after that we hit the sheets around 10. What a great day!
Good night!

wow, those last 2 posts went up like lightning! That was a fun read, Tim. Luke and Lesley looked EXHAUSTED at the bus stop. I bet those frozen cokes were just what y'all needed.

That was cool that you got to have a meal with Diane and family. Looked like Brian had a good birthday...just what was that dessert they brought? I *think* that might be what my DH had for dessert last year, and really enjoyed it.

I was hoping your TR would last at least until my trip, and y'all came through for me!! :thumbsup2 Just 2 more sleeps, and then I'm on my way to the Happiest Place on Earth! :cloud9:

TIM....GREAT job!!!! You rock! Keep those updates coming.
Thanks for taking the time to share it, writing these TR's are
time consuming but you have so many fans counting on the
finish of your adventures!

Great job, Tim!

Tell Leslie I hope school is settling in!
