Becky and Jeff- 2/8/10 BW Croquet Lawn/LSS/UK Lochside- TR- Update 8/8 dessert party

aww Becky... i love it :lovestruc you look so happy in your dress! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

I didnt realise that the train was that long, it looks lovely! All lovely and sparkly! You will be such a beautiful bride!

Okay, you go off and do your invites.... let us know how they turn out! heheh!!

Thanks! I know this is the first full body pic I have, it is a pretty long train. It looks awesome bustled though.

Oh Becky you look beautiful!!!

Thanks!

Gorgeous!

Thanks!

I love all the detailing on the dress, so beautiful!

So, out of curiosity what percentage do cast members typically get off room rates? If you can't say either, no big deal just wondering if it is in the range of AP or not :goodvibes

Thank you.
The rate is pretty much the same as AP for booking rooms for friends and family, sometimes AP is better though, it depends. We get a better rate if we are staying in the room too though and that beats the AP rate.

So the bulk of the work is done. I still need to use the wax seal on all but one and address them as well. I went to the Post Office today and was told it would cost $1.05 each. Bleh. The $1 stamps they sold me are awesome. They are an art deco mural from Rockefeller Center! However the $0.05 stamp is hideous and it's the only kind they make, it has an ugly old water picther on it, very Americana. Oh well.

Here are some pics of the invites! I love them!

I LOVE THEM!! great work with the wax- YAY!!! Is that glittery green wax!!??

I think the postage to the UK for my invite might be a little more than $1.05... ;):confused3 tehehee

They look awesome!! I love the skull wax seal. What a cool way to personalize an invite!

Thanks! It is glittery green wax! I  it!

I don't know I think for over $1 a little ole envelope should make it halfway to the moon lol :rotfl:

Thanks!

I ended up running out of wax and I've had to order more so invites are on hold for the moment. They are so close to being done though! I'm going to get the envelopes addressed this weekend I hope and then I can get them off as soon as I get the wax in! I am sooo ready for them to be out of my hands! Though I kinda want to keep one for myself

Ahhh 3 months and 15 days!!! :scared1:

Your invites look AWESOME my love!!! Stunning!!!

I love the wax seal. It is super awesome.

Thanks Bob!

I printed out all but two envelopes (Jeff still needs to get me the addresses) and I have more than enough invites. I thought I was going to be way short for some reason. I'm just waiting for my last stick of wax to come in and then I can finish the suckers off and be done with them!

Tomorrow we can book dining reservations but I don't know if I am going to bother to try to get through on the crazy changing from 90 to 180 window day. There really isn't anything I want that badly that I think wont be available for February. Heck I'm used to making a reservation the day before or day of. Which is why I rarely eat at CRT or Le Cellier :rotfl: Although the only time I've eaten at Chef Mickey's was on a same day reservation.
We shall see...

OMG your dress is beautiful!! So pretty!! It'll look great on the lawn at BW!

Your invites are so cute too! i love the skull wax seal! That's so cute! pirate:

Wow Becky - everyting looks great. We used the same $1.00 stamp for our invites (the Rockefeller Center art deco one). We also used a Disney stamp. This was great for us as we got engaged at Rockefeller Center and married in Disney :goodvibes.

Love the way the skull wax seal looks also.

We will be down in February at the same time as your wedding so we will definately have to meet up again. Would love to see Jeff again also (outside his working engagements).

Linda

Definately keep an invite for yourself. One of Sheldon's coworkers (someone not invited to the wedding) asked for an invitation. She made a shadowbox for us out of the invitation. We took this down to our wedding and put it on our guestbook table. She also put some flowers in it. When we got home from the wedding I removed the flowers and added some of our wedding items (my garter, some Disney wedding pins, a copy of our menu, the picture of my mom in a silver frame that was attached to my bouquet, and a few other things). I will take a photo of it and show it to you. It is a great reminder.

We used a guest book from The Guestbook Store. There is a special page for your invitation. If you have the supplies, I would definately suggest having a few extra invitations on hand.

Here is a photo of shadowbox at our wedding (I only have the black and white version loaded on Photobucket).

That is so cool that the stamps represented where you were engaged and married! I love it!

Hopefully we can meet up with Sam and Dave again too!

That shadow box is really cool! I think that is something I would really like to do. I actually have a small shadow box lying around somewhere that I wanted to use to display all my nametags but then I couldn't figure out how to get them in properly.

Right now I have about 5 leftover invites, but I still need to send 2 out to Jeff's friends once he gets me the addresses. Then I want to give one to my parents because my mom said to skip them if I didn't have enough. I have tons of paper left to print more inserts though if I wanted.

INVITATIONS ARE IN THE MAIL!!!!!

I am so happy to have them off and away, but eager to have parts of them return :rotfl:

I also e-mailed Carol today and added pretzel bread to our reception because Jeff really wanted it, and really who doesn't want it? Even Carol wrote back and said how delicious it is :lmao:

My parents and my moms side of the family are all now securely booked in a cast rate 2 bedroom villa at the Boardwalk as of this morning when I happened to check and find that they actually had a room available!

Man I accomplished a lot today!

ugh I am totally craving pretzel bread now!.... :rotfl:

The shadowbox she used was purchased at Michaels but I know Disney sells a shadowbox also - smaller then the one we used.

So - what time is your wedding - we are hoping to "sneak a peak" :lmao:.

Love the photos of you in your dress - you have the biggest smile on your face.
