Beauty & Beast Show only in DHS - then go to EPCOT ?

We are new to the 2 PM park hop option
Which way is better ....
1) Go to EPCOT first then Park Hop to DHS do the Beauty and Beast 4 PM (LL pass) and eat dinner after at Brown Derby
OR
2) Go to DHS first find something to do before in DHS and then do the 11 AM (LL pass) and eat lunch at Brown Derby then Park Hop to EPCOT


We do not do Star Wars

Which Park is easier to Park Hop to in the afternoon - DHS or EPCOT ?

It’s just as easy to hop to either one. It’s more about what you do until the 2 pm window. HS is definitely going to be more crowded than Epcot is during the pre 2 pm hours.

The crowds at HS tend to die down later in the day and Epcot crowds build in the evening.

If you want the least crowded options, I would start in EP and hop to HS. EP crowds build throughout the day, as many people go there for dinner. Also starting in EP allows you to try for the Guardians of the Galaxy virtual cue - in case you were interested in that ride. I recommend riding the skyliner between the two parks - fast and a like a ride itself.

The actual hopping time is identical to either park.

It really comes down to how much you want to get done in Epcot? If you can get everything done by 2PM then I would agree with the others and start there as it will be busier at night.

Another thought is that since you only want to do one attraction at DHS plus a meal, there’s always the option to hop back to Epcot too.

I did not know that - I thought it was a one way hop
