what beach would you recomend for a nice beach day??

Do the Blue Lagoon Beach day Excursion. It is a nice fery ride over and the island is very picturesques with a great place for kids to swim.

How long are youat the beach for?? I heard thet the ferry is crowed. Did you have this problem??

Yes the ferry on the way to the Island was full but did not feel overcrowded, everyone had a seat. On the way over we stayed on the bottom deck, the top was packed. On the way back the ferry was much less crowded and we sat on top.

It was a choppy, windy day so the ferry ride was about 50 min.

We came back on the 2:00 ferry so we had about 2 1/2 hours on the island. If it had been a warmer day we would have stayed until 4:00. We did stingray-city there.

Thank you for your help.. How was the lunch that they provided for you??

Lunch was typical Summer BBQ food. Hamburgers, BBQ Chicken or ribs, Hot Dogs also had fries, rice and vege's. It's not the cruise ship food but was plenty.

We had a great day at the British Coloial Hilton in Nassau. Beach is clean and not crowded. No vendors. You can use the pool too. There is an outdoor restaurant. Day passes were $15 for adults and $5 for kids. Its an easy,safe walk from the pier-about 5 minutes. It was ne of our favorite days on that particular cruise.
