Beach Club Deluxe Rooms, Suites, VP and Presidential Rooms

Stay tuned. We have been promised pictures from a stay in the Nantucket (VP Suite) at BC. They will hopefully be added later next week!

That's me - I'm woefully behind! Just FYI - it's not the VP suite, but the Presidential suite. Neil told us that they had another large suite - and I said "bigger than this?" and he laughed and said "no - this is the biggest." So our room was the Presidential suite, I assume.

Is it inconvenient to get to club lounge from deluxe rooms since they are not on the 5th floor? How much bigger are the deluxe rooms than the regular club rooms?<a href="http://distickers.com/ticker/"><img src="http://distickers.com/ticker/tickers/9ohg8u4ssg0bssmx.png" alt="DIStickers.com Ticker" border="0"/></a>

Rats! I tried putting a ticker on my signature and it didn't work. Must try again!

We stayed at the Newport Presdential Suite. It has to be biggest suite because it took up the whole top floor! My older DD was in heaven while the younger one said it was too big. :rotfl:

When we walk by the BC now I look up and think there's our room(s). :)

Okay here's a link for the front page of the BC/YC FAQ thread. Post 11 has a short how to get a ticker link.

I will say that they usually give you three options to copy and paste for your ticker link and I had to try all three before one of them worked. So don't assume that the one that says for message boards is the one that will work. Try all of them to find the one that is compatible with Dis.

Yup, my mistake.

The Nantucket is the VP suite, but you stayed in the Presidential, Newport. According to my info, the Nantucket only sleeps 2 plus (the plus being a guest under age 3)

For some reason I got confused. :confused3

We stayed in the Deluxe room (2557) last month. I took pictures (a bunch) and as soon as I can find them and remember how to load them here, lol, I will post them!

Here are pics of Deluxe CL room 2557..please feel free to edit or move them as necessary!

Hi everyone. We will be staying at the Beach Club for the first time in August, and we are staying in a deluxe room, so this info has been very helpful. Can you tell me, though, in your opinion, which deluxe room is the best? Is it better to stay in one of the two rooms that are directly over Cape May? Or is it better to stay in one of the four rooms that are closer to Epcot? Thanks!

I haven't stayed in a deluxe room but being close to epcot is never a bad thing. Next time I stay there I'm going to request close to Epcot, using that back entrance and being just a hop away from the IG is preferable to being close to the Lobby, pool, or buses.

meremac - that's totally personal choice on what you want to be closer to. For us, being right by the quiet pool, quiet hot tub, laundry room & Epcot entrance was priority. If you're above Cap May you're closer to the lobby, SAB & probably a little closer to the CL lounge (none of the Deluxe CL rooms are on the 5th floor where the CL lounge is). We wanted peace & quiet, the rooms above Cape May are a little more in the middle of everything.

We stayed in that room when the resort first opened. It had a King bed then.

TaraPA- thanks so much for posting the detailed pictures from Room 2557!!! I have added a few to the post about that room, along with the link that takes you to all of the pictures you posted.

Thanks, again!

Dee

Based on the pictures TaraPA posted and the fact that I am a Lehigh Valley girl myself I guess I know what room I am requesting for our stay next year.

Just saw this thread pop up, and it reminded me that I'm very delinquent in posting photos of a 2-bedroom suite at BC, which is AMAZING!!!

Thanks for the great pics pixarmom! I love that the view from the master is of the walkway to IG - that's one of my very favorite things about BC - how close it is to Epcot!

Your pic looking out to the quiet pool - for anyone interested - the rooms straight across are the Deluxe CL rooms on all floors. From this view you can see the difference in the balconies on each level.

Tara, it's so funny that you mention the view from the master bedroom. I have always been an Epcot girl, even as a child. That "walkway to Epcot view" is one of my favorites - made me really happy. :)
