Be Thankful for President Bush

I was looking at the news today and I couldn’t help notice a few things:

• Budget deficits running at 800 billion dollars a year. (As opposed to budget surpluses just 6 years ago.)
• Over 12 million illegal aliens
• A no-win war which is bleeding our country

When I think about this I can’t help but be grateful that a Republican is our president. Just think how things would be so much worse if a Democrat was in charge. I shudder at the thought of it.

You see, Republicans represent basic conservative values. And conservative values are exactly what our country needs right now. The Republican Party has always been the party that supports out of control spending, soft policies on immigration and sending our troops to die in foreign lands for no particular reason at all.

Thankfully President Bush came along and forced the Republican Party to stand behind what it has been preaching all these years. For too long the party was beholden to closet liberals like Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater.

Welcome home Republican party, I’m glad to see we are finally celebrating true conservative ideals. I know everyone doesn’t agree with me now. But in a few years when deficits are counted in the trillions, when illegal aliens start to out number American citizens and when we have invaded a few more counties so our troops have new places to die, then everyone will finally give thanks to the Bush administration.

I know what he would have done jimmie. If Gore (or Kerry) was president on that fateful day he would have flown around aimlessly in Air Force One dithering like a muddle-headed liberal - not knowing what to do until he was told what to do by his advisors.

Then when he finally did land, he would have chose some country at random to invade for no particular reason at all.

Then, to finish it off, he would have a waited a few years and then handed over our port or airports to the very people who attacked us in the first place.

Can you believe those liberals. If their policies weren't so dangerous you would have to laugh at their incompetence.

Thousands of people dying, Hundreds of Thousands of people embarassed to be American ( I found out yesterday there is a company that sells "Canadian looking T Shirts" to American Tourists wishing to travel over see.... or a President having sex and then lying about it... The Bush Republicans still have a lot to accomplish. Deficits still have room to grow, more illegal immigrants still want to come to our country and there are plenty of other countries we could invade which (like Iraq) pose no threat to us at all.
