Just an FYI...I have two sets of Magic Bands since we're a split stay this trip and all of them have very different numbers on them but not one starts with a 4, and some even have letters in them so they wouldn't work on this site.

You're looking for a single reservation number starting with a 4, and one place this can be found is online for your Magic Band order. It's also printed on any Disney Magical Express luggage tags if you have them. The numbers on the Magic Bands themselves aren't what you need.
 
We have AP's tied to our MDE (took a trip with the new system/magic bands in October). My problem is that we have a trip in December but it doesn't allow me to book for that confirmed reservation (yes we are also in that test group as well). It does, however, give me the ability to book for the next 10 days a fastpass+ at BOG. Anyone else run into this issue and if so have they been able to resolve it some way?

Yup! Only our circumstances are that we changed our November dates to December dates. It still shows my November dates when I log in. So I tried to set up a new account with a new email address - went all the way to security questions, and then bounced me out. Wouldn't accept a new account.

Wish I knew a way to resolve. And yes I did receive the email invitation, so that's not it either.

there won't be any confirmation. I printed the page when I made our FP's just in case, but there not a problem. Can't hurt to do a screen shot.

It's been posted, not sure if was in this thread or another BOG lunch thread, that if you had an invitation you would receive an email confirmation. Can someone who was officially invited confirm this? Is this possibly new?

Not invited. Just clicked on the link on the boards. We went Tuesday, November 12. No problems.
 
And yes I did receive the email invitation, so that's not it either.

I hate typing on my phone. I meant to say/ask if the email invitation was BOG specific or just the generic magicband invite. Also did the email direct you to the web site we've all been using.

Not invited but was able to get a Fastpass for our party on Nov 12.
On arrival I showed CM my screen shot with our preordered meals listed.
She search for some info and told us to wait around and return in about 10 minutes. I was very nervous about all of this because she acted so strange.
We returned at said time and she told us which door to go in and which CM to tell our name.
They probably realize that more people are having fastpasses than are invited. So mine worked but I was very nervous for a moment that it would not.
However it was a great meal and worth the trouble.

this has been the case since the end of September, if Disney wanted to do something about it, they could but have chosen to leave the link active. I wouldn't worry too much about being turned away; there have only been reports of a handful of people be turned away out of the hundreds who have used the link. I don't even recall anyone actually posting here that they were not able to use their FP+.

You will need a reservation number without letters in the string (usually starts with 432.....) which can be a little tricky to find. If you able to customize your magicbands, you should be able to find in on that page. I found mine from the "my reservation link", hovering the mouse pointer over the "check in on line link", at the bottom left on page, there's a string of information, at the end should be your reservation number.

Yes, you need a 12 digit # beginning with a 4. Its the confirmation # for your Magic Bands and the number is also on the yellow DME luggage tags.
