I was able to book BOG for 12/12 and pre-ordered our food!

Is it true that the BOG fastpass+ does NOT count toward the 3 Fastpass+ rides I get for the day? I haven't tried to book any fastpass+ rides yet for that day.

Yes that's correct. I have my BOG FP+ and all 3 of my attraction FP+'s still showing on MDE.

so what's the deal with this BOG special site??!! I'm able to sign in and all my info is there and I'm waiting for my days to open up.. got a while wait.. trip is in FEB!

BUT, I just read on another site that someone just came back from their trip, and did the same BOG fastpass selection WITHOUT an invitation, picked out food and since they didn't get a email confirmation, like many of you are saying, they got turned away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had some verification of this and if everyone is going to be turned away in future (like FEB) since this website is leeked to everyone!!

I went in sept without and invite with no problem. I really can't see Disney turning people away went they can fix the site to make sure that only invites get on it.
 

We used it in Sept no problem. Right now I can only see the next week. We aren't going again until January, so I'm not worried yet. Anybody know how far out they release dates? Some have reported song Dec already but I can't even see those.

This is interesting. Got 2 reservations for the same day in December (one under my name, one with my SO's name and account), but since no invitation, and no e-mail confirmation, I'm not holding any hopes of being able to use it. Still, have the printout, so maybe I'll try when I get there.

I'm still going to be stalking the boglunch fastpass site to see when my arrival dates open up and make the selections.. even tho I didn't receive an email invitation!! :)
 
This all is very interesting. No matter what number I put in I get "already registered". It would be good to hear if ANYONE who did NOT have an email confirmation were able to use their printed confirmation and get in.

I am also wondering if some people are blocked since no matter what they do they can't get in.

On a earlier issue I had when I called guest relations. I was making a reservation online at Le Cellier steak house. Going single solo it denied a reser for 1 but once I changed to 2 guests ... got a reser. Dining could not help over the phone. I called guest relations why they accepting my single 1 money for tickets and a 1 room for 8 nights and shopping for 1... Well I got my reserve fixed ASAP. I am wondering if I am blocked for 1 person again.

ANYWAY ....


Now I got a number to call a guest relations person if I have any more issues. I called her back about the BOG fastpass and she said it is only offered by email.
 
Yes, but you're trip was in Sept! I'm sure this site is more popular and more "out in the open" to everone and they MIGHT be turning people away now..

If that's the case than Disney is smart enough to fix the site to only allow people with invite on it.

I agree! I've seen blog posts dating back to June and May with the website and details on how to log in. This isn't a secret Disney wants to keep as it would be really easy to add a password or something specific in the email they send.
 
its a 12 digit # beginning with a 4. check the confirmation number for your magic bands or the number on the yellow DME luggage tags.

Just an FYI...I have two sets of Magic Bands since we're a split stay this trip and all of them have very different numbers on them but not one starts with a 4, and some even have letters in them so they wouldn't work on this site.
 
I had the oddest response from a CM today about BOG for lunch and thought of this thread. I called with one of my million questions I've got and at the end they went through the spiel about adding dining or whatever and she said "Oh, I see you have BOG for dinner one night!" I said yes that it took some work. Well she chimed in and said she's heard bad things about dinner there and that lunch was definitely the way to go. She said people weren't allowed to walk around at dinner and see the other rooms, that the food and service is just bad.

I've never had a CM say anything negative about a restaurant and am more surprised by that than anything else.

I told my friend and they said they think the CM may have been trying to get me to cancel my reservation so they could have it. I'd hate to think that but then again...

That's disappointing to hear. :( Since the CM was so candid, did she say anything about the lunch fp+?
 
I had a couple of friends of mine say that BOG was pretty over rated they went today. I am guessing the big draw is the fact it is new and nice looking but it was apparently a "zoo" very disorganize and the food was "meh" according to them. They spent 5 days and did one lunch and tried dinner there one another night thinking one service might be better than the other but no dice. I am thinking about canceling my ADR for dinner, really all I wanted was to see the ballroom. Probably go once the hype has died down and maybe they become more organized.
 
We enjoyed our dinner there earlier this year. I'd keep your res. Plus, the Beast is only at dinner, right?

It could have been a game the CMs were playing to entertain themselves and to pass the time. We used to do that when I worked retail many moons ago.

They did the same with us and my inlaws (we had separate FP ressies).
