Disney After Hours in 2025?

We did our AH in Magic Kingdom last February and it was so amazing. We loved it! Fireworks, ate so much popcorn and ice cream, easy to get on all the rides, easy to take pics without anyone in them, only waited for one party ahead of us for the Lantern photopass, etc. We thought it was a great investment.I

I figured it would be. I'm almost more excited about pictures with no people in them than I am the rides!

Exact opposite here - I’m going the very end of April thru first week of May - I’ll be there for 3 park after hour days…but I’m also DVC and unless they change the Deluxe Extended Hours at MK and Epcot - I’ll probably only buy AH tickets for Hollywood…

There is an MK one in March while I am there, but I'm using a DVC rental and it likely is the same evening as EEH at Epcot. I love the AH at MK, we did one in 2024, but I am doing both MNSSHP and MVMCP this year so I will probably skip the MK AH. Maybe I'll splurge and buy LLMP on my MK day instead.

Does anyone know what time on 9/4 the tickets go on sale? I’m less worried about sell outs and more want a precise calendar reminder. Thanks!!

I figured it would be. I'm almost more excited about pictures with no people in them than I am the rides!

It was wonderful! You definitely need to be patient as the day guests clear out. But after that 9-10 pm hour it was so quiet and empty. Just walking all through Frontierland - we were the only ones! And I recall many photopass photographers set up near the castle in many areas to get great shots. Of course you do get so many on your own too! Enjoy!

We're set to visit in October of 24 and then again January 28 of 2025.

We'll probably do HS on January 29th.

I do wish they'd bring back Animal Kingdom afterhours. I know there's not a ton of rides, but Avatar/Pandora is pretty cool in the dark.

Maybe once encanta, Indiana Jones, etc are completed they'll do it

Do the MK DAH events typically sell out? I am thinking about Feb 3, but I was hoping to wait and see if EEH nights would be offered for that week before making the purchase....but i'm guessing that info might not come out until December.

I'm sorry, dumb question... I know After Hours is a separate ticket event, does that mean I need to buy a park ticket AND the after hours ticket if we plan just to go at night (say after 7pm)? Or do we just buy the after hours ticket?

You can enter starting at 7 pm with the after hours ticket. You would need a park ticket to enter before then.

I'm rather disappointed about this:

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can enjoy the benefit of specially priced tickets at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

We really enjoyed MK After Hours, and the AP discount made it reasonable to go as a Passholder. I can't see paying full price for After Hours when I'm already paying $1500 for the AP.

Maybe another year, and we can just hit After Hours instead of getting the AP.
