BCV or VWL

I am planning a trip for next April with my family and my in-laws. I was wondering if I can reserve a room at our home resort at the 11 month month mark and then rechedule to either BCV or VWL at the7 month window. That way I guantee a room for us in case the second two aren't available PLus which resort would you recommend? My boys will be 3. Plus my father in law is a very outdoorsey guy. Thanks!

I can't recommend a resort since I haven't stayed at either but yes you can do what you said. Book at home and switch at 7 months if there is availibility. You may have to waitlist but no biggie.
