Ok, which of these would you choose??? Why???
What do the standard views look like from these resorts???
Are these resorts "kept up well"???

all dvc resorts are kept up well.

that say - the bcv was mean to look like grandmother's cottage - so the furniture is beat up and looks old - it is mean to look that way.

if this would bother you go with BWV.

I happen to love BCV.

that say I own at BWV and I do love the standard view rooms. they look out on the drive way and parking lot - but also a very lovely garden. from some of the villa you can see the higher fireworks at Epcot or Studios....

oh if you don't own at BWV don't plan on getting the standard view. It and BW view go fast.

Grandma didn't have a cottage, what in the world do you mean????
They look beautiful to me!!! ::yes::

too many times the BCV members have complainted about the furniture in BC.

so I looked at my notes.

sure enough it was surpose to be grandmother cottage.....

in most places this means that the furniture would be older and not perfect...
It isn't - but it looks that way.

if you don't believe me ask your guide.

I think you mean whitewashed furniture. That is country, not old. ;)

Here's a rundown of each resort in my mind.

BCV

- Quiet and more laid back than BWV
- Not really a great selection of views, although some of the ones of the courtyard and Pool aren't that bad.
- Best pool on property bar none.
- Beaches & Cream Soda Shop (best burgers on property as well as milk shakes)
- 5 minute walk to International Gateway entrance of Epcot.
- Sandcastle Club for kids if you want to get away by yourselves for a few hours.
- Short walk to the YC Marina where you can rent boats or take a fishing excursion.
- Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe.

BWV

- right on the Boardwalk so there's something going on around you all the time (this can be a detriment if you don't like all the hustle and bustle)
- Community Hall which usually has some sort of kids activity at various times of the day.
- Walking distance to both Epcot and the Studios
- Access to a bunch of different types of restaurants.
- Crescent Lake Room views.

The rooms in both resorts are laid out pretty much the same. If BCV had lake view rooms it would win hands down, but I still like having access to SAB.

Whatever your choice is I don't believe it will be a bad one.

I lucked out and got a standard studio for Memorial Day weekend. I got a pref/pool at 4months out and waitlisted for standard/BW and got standard a month later :hyper:

Spiceycat - do you know if the rooms on the first floor closest to the main entrance/valet are studios? Thanks!
