BBB hair - slight deviation

Has anyone ever had a slight deviation from the pictured or classic BBB hair style? I was looking at the Pixie Magic hair style (flower crown with the colored ponytail option) do you think that you could have BBB put DD hair up in high pony and add the colored extension rather than a bun with extension?

I've always heard they don't deviate at all.
