BBB at Christmas

Has anyone done BBB at Christmas time? I hear they offer other options besides the standard princesses, but does that mean their hairstyle choices change too? My (will be) 7 year old wants to go, but I hate the hairstyles with the fake hair. That only leaves her with the bun option. In the end, I suppose I let her do whatever makes her happiest, but I'm just curious about other people's experiences. We're shooting for a 12:30 appt followed by a 2:00 reservation at CRT.
