My bet is similar vibe to Steakhouse 71. There’s a lot of red there too.

At least it's color! Too much trendy beige going around at fancy resorts. I like a good clean room and I do like the rooms at RIV, but you can't do the same thing at every resort.

It looks like at least 2 shades of red/orange and two shades of blue. The pattern is quite large (I think? Help, I need a banana for scale) so maybe these are for common areas or hallways?

I have never paid attention to the timelines at other resorts during renovation so I have no idea when and how DVC rolls out information. Does anyone have a guess when we may get some info or sketches of what the new rooms will look like?

It does seem this reno is going to be batches of rooms across floors. I figured it would be whole floors off at once. Interesting and guess has more to do with water shut off of some sort. I am curious if they do first two floors last as we often stay standard view.

I believe the grand villas cover more than one floor. Once those are complete we could still see the Reno be on a floor to floor basis. Just a thought.

They started with parts of floors 10 and up on the front and 9 and up on the south side of the C.

I have a standard view studio over Halloween so in 3.5 weeks and I haven’t gotten a call. I think every person except maybe 1 that I’ve read has been called and moved has NOT been in standard view rooms.

We’ve had no issues. We are on the 3rd floor. Check out tomorrow. But people on the 6th floor have had pretty terrible mid day construction noise coming from above.

Other than watching them bring giant plastic bags of construction trash out once or twice that’s all we’ve even seen.

I know it’s the smallest studio, but is it possible that they might install the fifth Murphy, bed sleeper, like they did for boardwalk beach club and poly?

Can you tell which sections they are working on? I was so hoping to be on the outside of the C so we could see fireworks. Our trip is in three weeks.

They were working on the south half of the building when I was there on Tuesday. They had every floor above I think the 6th floor closed off, and a temp wall built at the halfway mark of the hallway.

Looks like the TV has finally lost the big black bezel around the screen.

Good News Murphy beds are showing.

Some may like this but I'm going to miss the chair as it looks like the dresser is the pull down under the TV.

Much easier to have DS watching a show before bed in the chair than these under the TV Setups.

Hopefully they will at least add a regular chair to go along with the sofa.
