There is no door between the bedroom and the sink/tub area of this one-bedroom villa. The electrical outlet next to the sink has a built in night light. It's very annoying. It throws light into the bedroom.

Is there a way to turn it off?

We ended up using tape at one resort and a bandaid at another over the light when we stayed with our grandson recently. Yes, they are annoying.

For us it was the light from the alarm clock that was too bright. I don’t think the room we were in recently had one of these lights on the outlet though.

Put a piece of duct tape over it. I have one like that and I actually had to put three layers of duct tape over it. Now it doesn't bother me.

After two nights with no sleep on my first WDW trip due to bright balcony lights you can't turn off at Beach Club hotel, I started always traveling with a sleeping mask. A roll of painters or electrical tape in your travel bag will be useful here too.

I do like a sleep mask as well. I like the Alaska bear sleep mask, the one without the Velcro. It is so soft and it works so well. I use a CPAP and I can even use it underneath all the CPAP stuff.
