There is no door between the bedroom and the sink/tub area of this one-bedroom villa. The electrical outlet next to the sink has a built in night light. It's very annoying. It throws light into the bedroom.

Is there a way to turn it off?

We ended up using tape at one resort and a bandaid at another over the light when we stayed with our grandson recently. Yes, they are annoying.

I but a book in front of it. Never thought of the bandaid. An easy fix going forward.

We always trip the GFCI nightlight outlet prior to bed. Just push the test button on the front. Reset in morning if needed for hair dryer or something else. We have also used bandaid to cover other annoying lights. Now bring along small roll of black electrical tape for those.

For us it was the light from the alarm clock that was too bright. I don’t think the room we were in recently had one of these lights on the outlet though.

Put a piece of duct tape over it. I have one like that and I actually had to put three layers of duct tape over it. Now it doesn't bother me.
