Baseline Tap House?New HS bar ?... Really ?

The one time I ever got stupid drunk was at Club Villain, but it's there fault for having the drinks included in the price (and my fault for not eating much during the day). I will say the Queen of Hearts and I were best friends by the end of the experience and I may have cried a bit when we had to leave.

Aahhhh, Club Villain, the number one reason to stay on property ........... DDBD ........ Disney Designated Bus Driver. :drinking1

I wasn't staying on property!!!! But I had a designated driver, tho I had mostly sobered up by the time the SW fireworks had ended lol

When we went we exited to an empty park. Had closed long before our event was over. We stay off property a lot .... and the DDBD is probably the number one perk for staying onsite.

To keep your record intact,DON'T go to Rose & Crown Pub later in the day during a Sing-a-Long with the Piano player!!!!lol:)

I probably have seen, or been tipsy there, but not bad behavior, being loud or bothering anyone else behavior. I've seen some parents who were embarrassing themselves and could have used a drink though - a number of times.

And I can't tell you how much the bus drivers enjoy doing that. Where's that VoBan?(vomit absorbent)

I've seen it all, passed out flat on the floor, had to call security. Puking in the bushes and elsewhere. And that's one of the reasons why there is VoBan stored in the trash cans as well. Also being disruptive and annoying, etc. But it's not something that happens an excessive amount, so most visitors will not witness it.

Well I see that I was way off in my opinion of what I thought most people would rather have in the parks . Not afraid to admit when I'm wrong ...and I was wrong . I still think however that this trend of making alcohol more accessible in the theme parks will only lead to more problems in the future . I think that this would be a much better fit at DS or the BW .

Hey hey .... I don't drink that much nor do I care to spend that much ... not like Disney drinks are strong. Just being responsible. :drive:

Biological Spills, the joy of all CM. DD was fully trained in custodial but never did for job. At Soarin' custodians under old job structure used to "refuse" to come so she always shocked workmates when she opened the trash can, donned gloves and cleaned it up.

My bad-I thought you were saying you had never seen ANY drunk Guests at Epcot-not any ANNOYING drunk Guests.:)

As to those concerned about over consuming, I think there is very, very little of that due to cost alone. I can't fathom what it would cost to get stupid drunk at Disney prices
I saw tom petty at fenway park a few years ago and watched the people in front of me get 6 beers apiece (120 dollars or so). Could literally have bought another ticket for that money

If they're not making themselves an issue, I wouldn't and don't notice. I've only noticed an insanely small number of people who appeared drunk and I am in those environments. I've noticed and been much more disturbed by folks hitting their kid in the parks. That is something I notice though. Sorry, that was a bit ot. I'm glad for dhs to get additional eateries and small plates is a fantastic offering!

Any info on an opening date? Going in a week and know its doubtful, but curious?

I actually DO think it would be in the top 10 responses. Craft beer is a big thing now and pubs/breweries are favorite places for adults to hang out and relax. At least where I live there are dozens of places and they all seem to be thriving. You can bring your own food, bring your dog, and (at most) bring your children as well. I see it more along the lines of coffee shops in the 90s-- a place to gather, listen to music, play board games, etc. that also happens to serve alcohol.

I can only guess that perhaps you're thinking from the perspective of a family trip with small children. But there are plenty of adults of all ages with no children and adults whose children are either grown or old enough to explore the parks on their own. And, I think the majority of people in those categories would welcome a place in the parks to relax and have a beer.

Absolutely! We are a family with small children and still have a drink here and there. My husband loves craft beer, he has tried 100s of unique beers, so Disney is a great place for him to check some new ones off the list. We go for the theme parks, but the food and new drinks are definitely a big perk for our family. And personally I would go to a Mickey themed pub in a heartbeat :earsboy: :drinking1

We're looking forward to it! We love brew pub type places. And that's with kids! They tend to have good, interesting small-plate-type foods and I'm not adverse to a beer here or there.

Once when I was a kid, I puked in the monorail after Chef Mickey's because I ate myself silly on ice cream. So.....it's not only drunk people. :P Lol. But I've never gotten stupid drunk in the parks. Tipsy, sure. But the only time I really had a lot was at Jelly Rolls...That next morning I was hungover. :(

We've done that at BD, love the lounge experiences. I may be a collector of the light up "cubes'...came home with the derby hat (and the seed from the Pandora drink), plus I have all the star wars ones...

I *may* have gone to the BD Lounge this past April solely to get the derby hat light up cube... :rolleyes1
