I think this thread shows one of the interesting cultural dynamics of this board. A woman comes on and asks for dating advice because she doesn't like the way a man kissed on a second date. Half of the posters on the thread say to cut him lose.

Instead, the poster decides to try to talk with him; eight months later they are engaged.

Yes, there is another update to this thread.

On Sunday, October 27 he asked me to marry him and I said YES!

We don't have a specific date picked out yet but are thinking late next year. That will give us time to find a place to live and to save up for the wedding. It won't be anything huge, he doesn't want that. I had my big wedding already and looked at how it turned out (divorce). He loves my daughter and she loves him so I have all that I need.

Makes me feel bad for the people I've dumped for being bad kissers He could have been "the one" for all I know (Not really, he had a baby with someone else about a year after I dumped him then announced he was gay!! I can't help feel self conscious that I put him off women )
