Bachelor Jake -- no-spoiler thread

Maybe next season we should be more specific on the no spoiler thread. State that we want opinions only, no spoilers, no rumors, etc. That we want no information execept what has been aired on tv. I too was disappointed in the one post about about Vienna. Where did the rumor come from? Depending on that, it could be classified a spoiler.

I'm not upset for myself. I accidentally spoiled myself weeks ago. I am upset for others on this thread who don't want to hear rumors on the very last day. It's called "empathy". I am also upset that someone doesn't have enough respect for the people on a NO SPOILER thread to keep rumors to themselves. Or, at the very least use white text.

I know the spoilers and I am not saying that the rumor is true or false. All I am saying is that it is rude to blab about rumors on a NO SPOILER thread.

Personally, I don't like either of the final two. I would love it if he didn't choose either one.

That is my point EXACTLY - you'd read the so-called rumors here, yet you choose to think Tenley may get picked (which I don't have a problem with). The point that I'm making is that a rumor doesn't mean specifically one way or the other - black or white. There is still that 'gray area', so there can still be speculation. I was just emphasizing the fact that the OP stated a rumor, which is, IN NO WAY, and shouldn't be, 'conclusive'....that's all...

You said that a rumor doesn't mean specifically one way or another...black or white. Well, neither does a spoiler. I would think that there's gray area even with BIG "OFFICIAL" SPOILER sites. The spoiler sites that analyze nail polish color COULD be wrong, but often they're right. And spoilers are rumors. I DON'T WANT TO KNOW. That's why I was posting on a "no spoilers" thread.

I WOULD HAVE thought Tenley would have won, had I not read that RUMOR/SPOILERS have it that it's Vienna. THAT is what I'm saying.

I know you didn't post any spoilers. I was just explaining how someone who knows the spoilers could still be annoyed by someone posting rumors or spoilers.

I don't know, I think it was pretty obvious in the OP, that said "Feel free to talk about previews that have already aired, but no unaired information, please. " A rumor is unaired information, therefore not appropriate for this thread. If someone's going to ignore that definition, they'd probably ignore any other definition as well.

Ugh...I was going to miss the wedding because we were going to be in WDW. But we had to postpone our trip. So, if I do watch it, I'm going to be cranky anyway knowing I wasn't supposed to be watching it.

Yeah, Jason's a snake. I so don't WANT to watch it...I really don't. Just like I don't want to watch the next season of The Bachelor/Bachelorette. Or this one. Or the last one.
