Baby swap - idiots guide.....please!

I can't quite get my head around where/how baby swap works at dlrp. I've Googled a lot and keep seeing different things. Is it different at each attraction?

Some say you tell the CM as you're entering the line. Some say as you're boarding the ride. Some say at the exit.

Help please!!

What about if you have FPs?

I found it differed at each ride, and my experiences were different to others, so I think it depends on the CM too. Best thing to do is ask at the entrance.

I have never used it as we were always lucky enough to have my Mum there when the children were smaller and she rarely rode anything - PP or IASW was her limit! But from what I saw, it does appear to change depending the CM - rather unsurprisingly!

Just really wanted to say, I hope you all have a fabulous trip. I can't decide what I like more, the memories of the children being so little and believing in the magic (DD2 still does obv), or now where we all ride together and have a totally awesome time - each trip changes as they get older, but in a good way! My children are both tall and can get on most things these days and they are total daredevils - they will try anything once and usually repeat! I think our daily best was 14 (it may have been more, I lost count) times on BTM !

It will be truly magical for you all .

PS - I can't remember how old little Miss is but I was looking on Sports Direct web last night and they have some amazing outfits for smaller girls - may be worth a look for your trip!

I've only used it at btm, at the cabin on the way in the woman there gave my husband a baby swap ticket and I went in the exit as I have an eap. Then when I came off he went in the exit and handed over the baby swap ticket. No Idea about any other rides sorry.

It does differ and it seems to be different now to how it used to be.

Some rides you will be given a ticket: Crush, RnR and others you'll be asked to go to the exit and wait. We used to do this for BTM but looking at previous post it looks like this is a ticket now too.

I've always found it's best to ask the CM at the entrance and they'll keep you right

Thanks so much. I'm so excited!!! Had a look on sports direct but all a bit big for her. She's 20 months but only just going into 18-24 stuff and it's hard to get dress up stuff in under age 2-3.

She has a couple of Frozen dresses which she adores so might see if I can shorten them a bit and a Rapunzel one which I managed to get in 18-24 so at least she doesn't trip over that one. She goes to her wardrobe now and says "Anna/Elsa/Punzel dress now. Yes PLEEEASE Mummy" very frequently! Think I'll see if I can get her a Minnie one for our trip too. Gutted I didn't get the ASDA one when it was in her size!

I'm stressing a little over fitting everything we want to do in. But just going to go with the flow. There will be plenty more trips and as long as we're having fun then that's what it's all about. (That being said I do want to ride Ratatoille - will use DLH FPs I think - and for her to ride IASW and see the parade.)

Ah that's a shame about the SD stuff. There were some gorgeous furry gilet/top/legging sets - ideal for winter weather! I managed to get my DD2 a few lovely vest top dresses for WDW - one with Snow White and one with Rapunzel on - they are really lovely and just what she needs in warm weather as very cool.

At least you'll have a pushchair so she can nap if need be . As you say, you know it won't be the last trip and things change every trip as they get older and can do more etc.

Definitely do Ratatouille - probably a good use of DLH FP tbh. It is really, really clever - we loved it! The whole area is so pretty. Your DD would probably enjoy a meal in the restaurant too as the theming is fab!

I am stressing over WDW planning a little - it's like planning a military operation! I have to book my ADRs in just over 2 weeks - yikes! And of course once they are booked, everything is kind of set in stone. Then it's FPs after that. Planning for 6 people (5 of whom have no idea!), is quite stressful. 18 days of ADRs is full on ! Anyway, it will be sorted soon enough. I am trying to start some Universal planning too but WDW gets in the way - I know it's not so important to plan for Universal, apart from WWOHP of course!
