Can't help but think of that song when I see the temperature. It's 7 below right now and is supposed to be 17 to 27 below with the wind chill tonight.
I would really much rather be at the fort. Trying to think warm thoughts. :beach:

I hope all the Packers fans are really bundled up for the game tomorrow.

Low tonight is supposed to be about 5 here with wind chill in the neg #s brrrrrr. I hope it will be warmer at the fort next month, I am thinking warm thoughts with you. :thumbsup2

Oh my don't miss those Wisconsin winters... Born in Burlington, then moved to Stratford. Moved to Virginia after High School. Really have fond memories, just don't think I want to do that cold weather anymore. In the 30's here. Wisconsin is beautiful in July and August though!:thumbsup2

It's 22 here now...we had snow here yesterday in Central Al. but it melted quickly and the roads dried before night fall so hopefully in a bit when I head out it won't be too bad....but I'm susposed to be picnicing today...guess it will be in the truck lol.....boy I'd like to be sipping hot chocolate down at the Fort right now and heading for the parks in a bit....need a Disfix bad!!!:hippie:

Woke up at 6:30 this morning at FtW to 42 degrees! Had a quick, but heavy rain last night as the cold front moved thru. Today (at 10:50am) it's chilly & windy, 52 degrees, with clear skies.

Twas 30 here on the coast of N Florida. They say its suppose to get into the 20's tonight. Gotta be getting cold down at FW. Least it ain't raining like yesterday but then the clear skies means colder weather in the forecast.

ROX- Burlington isn't far away from us and I actually know where Stratford is. My parents are both from up north in Marshfield and Spencer.

It was 0 this morning, but I think we're at a balmy 7 degrees now. At least it's not snowing! :thumbsup2

We made it above 0 today after -14 below last night but thats alright because Tuesday afternoon we will be at the Fort.

It really is a small world isn't it! I have family in Marshfield and Milwaukee. I remember driving through Hales corners when I was a child. It used to scare me a little because I thought mom was saying He--'s corners. I think I was about 5 or six years old LOL!

Keep warm! Once a Packer fan, always a Packer fan!

was supposedly in the 20s in New Orleans last night, I didnt get out of work till 7 this morning, but it didnt SEEM that cold walking to my car.

We are at 59 today. The wind prevented us from using our Christmas present this weekend. We were trying to watch the football game on the inflatable mickey screen (14 feet, whoohoo!), but it acts like a giant sail and tried to take DH for a trip across the neighborhood yesterday. Oh well, another weekend perhaps.

Yeah it is cold, and I'm campin!, but not at the Fort, just at a local campground. It went down to 15 last night. I'm nice and toasty here in the camper reading a good book. I've got a windscreen and a heater going on the "front porch" and it's tolerable there. Why am I camping?? I just wanted a weekend to chill. At home, I'd be cleaning something or fixing something.
